for instance, for Sacto it's when Bibby is hitting his jumpers. when is it for the spurs?

Probably when we hold opponents to under 42% shooting. Defense allows for periods of stagnant offense and poor production from rebounds or turnovers.

I would say the Spurs are very difficult to beat when Tony Parker is hitting from the outside and TD is making his free throws.

I don't get to see as many Spurs games as most of you do but I will agree to this.
I'll also add that the Spurs are at their best when they don't give up a ton of offensive boards, which seems to happen on occasion.

They are at their best when the ball goes in the hole. When it doesn't, they seem to not do well.

When Beno drops five 50+ point games in a row
I think we are undefeated when Ginobili channels Jesus for a big game.

Spurs are the best, when Bowen is not the best defender playing the game for the Spurs.

typically when they score a lot of points, while holding their opponents to considerably less points than them.

When Elson plays good and someone other than Manu, Parker, and Duncan show up on the offensive end.

After my 5th beer and I'm throwing all the positive Mojo through the television while wearing my Tim Duncan Jersey, standing on one leg and telling the Mrs she has to leave the room because she's jinxing the Spurs

We seem to do well when any of the 3, namely Tony, are aggressive offensively. If Tony is keeping the defender working thru screens and back on his heels going to the basket. Couple that with a consistent jumper over the top of the pick-n-roll. When Tim is not waiting for the double team and makes his move within 2 seconds of getting the ball, or when Manu's getting to the freethrow line, opens up the game for all others.

If Timmy starts hitting his bank shot off the glass, watch out.
