I need help with the computer clock.

This morning I noticed it was an hour behind, so I changed it. Then I noticed all me email coming in was an hour behind as well as posts on this forum.

My clock is set to Central time with automatically adjusting to DST checked. I've sycronized the internet clock.

Is my computer haunted?

I know what it is. My computer thinks it's on standard time instead of DST. And it won't change.

Shelly, it is because Congress changed Daylight Savings time start date. If you are using Microsoft Windows, go to the Microsoft Download area and dowload software updates http://www.microsoft.com/downloads

Specifically, if you are running Windows XP, here is the link to handle the Time zone change issue:

If you have MS Outlook check here:

I already had the patch for XP. It DID change when we went to DST. Just today is when it converted back to standard time. I tried to download the patch again and windows said I already had it and can't reinstall

I just changed it to Eastern time.
