GTA has never been about the graphics. It's been the characters, storyline, and huge set of options of what to do ingame. When that was missing with lame-ass Tony Cipriani in GTALCS, the result was a really disappointing game (despite the fact that it looked amazing on PSP).

I hope there are a lot of gang-war type missions, and please, don't make this a fucking MMO.

Alot of people were, this was really just a teaser and not a trailer. A more indepth look at the game is supposed to come out soon.



I am glad they went back to the mafia style, no more ghetto gangsters in the hood. The graphics look awesome, I cannot wait to see a layout of how big the map will be. Alot of people are already assuming it will be partially the same as GTA3, except with alot more going on in the city. In GTA3 if you go up by the dam in the rich part of the city, there is a tunnel blocked off. It's believed that this will go to the upper part of the map.

Hopefully with IV, they aren't putting all their eggs in the graphics basket. I would hate for them to concentrate on just prettying up the game and losing the atmosphere, story, and humor.

I loved Vice City because I love Miami, and it's the perfect city for these types of games. I also liked how the gangs included the Cubans, Haitians, and then the other family ones. Plus the soundtrack was great.

I don't know if I should buy this game when it comes out...in the fall, I will be one busy mother fucker with all of my hard classes even though it'll be my senior year, football practice and games everyday, and doing those college applications and essays. This game would take over my life and I would probably drop out of school.

I'm glad it's going back to NYC. The mafia is so much more in-depth than your ordinary street gang IMO, plus it has class at the higher levels. I'm excited about the graphics. I know graphics don't make the game, but the jump from GTA/GTA2 to GTA3 was so huge you couldn't help yourself and it's hard to go back once you've been in a more immersive environment.

Should be fun.
