I don't think it'd be that crazy to scratch Horry every other game. I'm just so tired of it, one game he'll give us something, the next three he gives us nothing. I'm ready to move on with him.

Horry can play on my team till the day he says thats all.

Im hoping Horry can come back at least by wednesday to shake the bugs out, and run up and down the court a bit.

Horry still has game left, hes show it in time played this year, and Im more than confident he can still hit some big shots for the Spurs.

I never watch any of these games and think to myself, "Man I wish Horry was healthy and in there."

agree to disagree I guess. I will say his +/- numbers are surprisingly good. It's just we've had so many games this year where Pop plays him in the 2nd quarter to see if he has anything on the given night, determines that he doesn't and we don't see him for the rest of the game.

We get either Bonner or smallball in the 4th.

It'd be nice if we knew what to expect from him.

I'm looking forward to next year where we can use White as the 4th wingman in the Devin Brown role. I figure that out of Brent and Fin one will be back and one won't. Then maybe we can use the MLE on a decent PF to replace Horry. Either Scola or somebody.

Well afraid to break it to you, but outside of Bowen and Duncan, Horry is one of the team's best defenders.

He can guard Dirk. he has the foot speed to keep up and the length, and the intelligence.

I don't doubt his shot either, it will fall in april and may.

His plus minus defensive numbers are through the roof, and he does alot of the little things that don't go on the scoring sheet as well.

Horry can still help this team win ring number 4.

Spurs too fast for speedy Warriors

Tim Duncan had 28 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks to lead the Spurs to a 112-99 victory over Golden State on Saturday night at the AT&T Center.

The victory nudged the Spurs within two games of Phoenix for the Western Conference's No. 2 playoff seed while damaging the Warriors' hopes of making the postseason.

Manu Ginobili added 25 points, seven assists and seven rebounds, and Tony Parker had 18 points and seven assists.

After trailing by as many as 13 points, Golden State pulled within 96-91 on Jason Richardson's reverse layup with less than five minutes left. The Spurs steadied themselves the way they usually do: by throwing the ball into Duncan.

Duncan banked in a shot as Al Harrington knocked him to the floor, then made the free throw — no small feat considering he had missed four of his previous six foul shots. When Ginobili missed a 3-pointer on the following possession, Duncan dunked the rebound with both hands, extending the Spurs' lead to 101-91 and sending the Warriors into a timeout.

Since the Spurs throttled them 126-89 on March 25, the Warriors had won four consecutive games, keeping them alive for the Western Conference's eighth and final playoff spot. Golden State coach Don Nelson also had made one notable change to his starting lineup since the teams' last meeting: He replaced 6-foot-11 center Andris Biedrins with the 6-9 Harrington, allowing him to start speedy guard Monta Ellis next to Baron Davis.

The lineup is the league's smallest but also likely its fastest. Even after allowing a basket, the Warriors can get the ball to their rim in three seconds.

The Spurs scored 40 points in the first quarter, their most in any quarter this season.

No way.
In last 5 post seasons, Horry was basically a garbage but for the 2005 season. I bet my all that he would be a trash this post season. This year's version of nick the slow. Nick the slow II. Shooting below 20 %.
He is still a smart defensive player and rebounder but he will bricking enough, if he is allowed to shoot so much, to build a new house. He could not guard Dirk last year, why would he guard better this year? Because he is a year older, more injured and in worse shape?
Look beyond his glittering reputation and you'll see the rot.

Discount Horry all you want.

Hate on him all you want.

He still has game, he still can defend, and he can still knock down the open clutch jumper.

hes done it at times this year, and will do it again.

Book it.

Horry's magic is gone man. Since June 2005 it has been MIA for a reason. The dude is washed up and finished. Time to face the facts.

Horry's end of game heroics have been overblown. Anyone ever think that there may have been a lot of luck as well as 'willingness to take the big shot?" How many games did he miss a shot in the last couple of minutes? No one keeps stats on that.

Frankly, this year I cringe everytime I see him drag his creaky old body onto the floor. I hope Pop continues to play the players who are producing and doesn't change the lineup for the playoffs based on memories.

horry was washed up most of 2005.

Yeah but in early April was when he started to really step up and he was nowhere near this bad before that time during that season. I havent seen shit on that this year and him being hurt shows how old and washed up he is. The guy is done. 2005 was the last part of the tank he had left in him and it is all used up now.
