Here is their secret menu...

X by Y
X meat patties and Y slices of cheese (for example, a 3 by 3 or a 2 by 4)
Double Meat
Two meat patties without cheese.
Triple Meat
Three meat patties without cheese.
Animal Style
A mustard cooked beef patty served on a bun with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, extra spread and grilled onions. Any burger (including veggie and grilled cheeses) may be made this way.
Flying Dutchman
Two meat patties, two slices of melted cheese and nothing else.
Protein Style
Instead of a bun, the burger is wrapped in lettuce. Any burger (including veggie and grilled cheeses) may be made this way.
Veggie Burger (Wish Burger)
A burger without the meat and cheese.
Grilled Cheese
Two slices of melted cheese, tomato, lettuce and spread on a bun, with no meat.
Extra Everything
Adds extra spread, tomato, lettuce, and onions (regular or grilled).
Fries "Light"
Almost raw fries that are cooked for less time.
Fries "Well"
Fries that are cooked longer to be extra crisp.
Cheese Fries
Fries with two slices of melted cheese placed on top.
Animal Style Fries
Fries with cheese, spread, and grilled onions.
Neapolitan Shake
All three shake flavors (strawberry, vanilla and chocolate) combined in one shake.

by far the best fast food burger ever. too bad they are only out west...i use to go there all the time.

I have tried it and LOVE IT! It definitely hits the spot 99 out of 100 times.

It is arguably the best fast food when it comes to burgers. Too bad they don't have it in the East Coast.

I tried fat burger when I was on the west coast and that shit sucks compared to IN + OUT.

I ate at in-and-out too much when I was younger, it tastes so plain to me these days. I hate eating fast food, but if I had to, I'd choose a Carl's Jr six dollar burger over an in-and-out burger any day. You can't go wrong with a western bacon cheeseburger.

Only located in Nevada and California. Make the rest look like dog food.

I just hate how there are no options for things such as bacon, bbq sauce, and avocado. Those are things I want on my burger, especially if I'm stoned.

One of the best for sure; especially for the price. For those of you who want a quick In-n-Out fix, go to Freddies Frozen Custard and steakburger and order a #6 California Style. It is a great burger (and fries) and will take care of the fix in a pinch.

In-n-Out is almost a religion out here, I love my cheeseburger meal with grilled onions no tomato. The best! You have to eat the fries when their HOT though, they get cold quickly and then are gross.

We have a guy in the office that just moved here from Minnesota, we're trying to teach him that In-n-Out is better than Jack in the Box. Poor guy doesn't know any better.

I don't like 'em. I've never liked 'em. Pissed me the hell off everytime my buddies and I went to San Diego, they'd always effin' stop at In and Out.

Lute's Casino in Yuma has the best burgers anywhere. In and Out is slop compared.

As far as fast food, I suppose it's up at the top. What-a-Burger is great and I like BK Whoppers a lot.

I can see why people like 'em, but I don't care for them at all.

Yeah. There's one in Yuma, Az. Plenty of them in the Phoenix area. Probably one or two in Tucson as well.

If you live near Tempe, go to Chuckbox (http://www.thechuckbox.com/Menu.html). I'm serious. They have burgers that'll kill you from all the extras you can put on.

The red star is their location.
http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/8303/mapimagemapdatay9flbed6hv3.gif

They have a guacamole, bacon cheeseburger that's amazing. You can get Wings, Onion Rings, French Fries, Fried Zuccini or Mushrooms and you put on all the condiments yourself. As much as you want.

They have a burger called "The Big One" that's like a right of passage. It's huge!

Actually, we're infiltrating AZ in droves and trying to make the US Airways center a little more friendly for the good guys. :)

I'm not a big drive-thru person in general, and am particularly picky when it comes to In-N-Outs that are outside the LA area... but, as a native SoCal girl, my favorite In-N-Out in Pasadena is one of three places I must eat whenever I make it down to LA (the others being Fatburger and Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles).

They'll never expand far, because they only build in places that can be reached from their meat-packing plant without having to freeze the meat.

I tried fat burger when I was on the west coast and that shit sucks compared to IN + OUT.

Fatburger is really inconsistent across locations. For instance, Fatburger in Westwood is outstanding. Fatburger in Santa Monica sucks.

eh, In and Out is pretty good, but I also like Culvers as far as fast food goes.

Love the In and Out burger places, great food that's quick and fresh. I still have to put them just a notch below Whataburger, being a Texas kid I grew up on that shit, still my favorite to this day.

But whenever I'm in LA visiting, hitting In and Out is a MUST.

Funny, you always seem to want what you don't have. We're in Southern California, so In and Out is easy to find. But with all the Spurs games we watch we see the ads for Whataburger all the time. My daughter finally asked why we'd never been there. I had to explain how we were seeing Texas commercials! (Thanks League Pass!)
In and Out is pretty good. But my daughter won't commit until she gets to try Whataburger.

I have never understood the fascination with Whataburger. I don't like it too much. I'd rather go to other burger joints before I go to Whataburger. I have tasted the Carl Jr's over by my house on Fischer Rd. Its much better.

i like the flatter burgers (i.e. Whataburger) as opposed to thicker patties and taller burgers in general, but maybe that's just me. diary treet is victoria also rules (or ruled, i don't know if it's still open.)

I never thought In-N-Out was that great. But when I was back home in Dec, there was always a line at the drive-thru.

There's an A's Burger right next door. I guess INO doesn't hurt their business as it's been there for a long time. I don't think I've ever had A's or if I did, it was when I was in high school.

I still remember people changing the In-N-Out Burger sticker to say "In-N-Out Urge"

Malted freaking onion rings...holy CRAP they're good.

If I wasn't stuck in San Angelo right now, I'd seriously consider a roadie to Austintacious for some Steak 'N' Shake action!!!
