i didn't see the game versus portland, but seriously, letting a team with three of its top scorers out shoot that high of a percentage? the defense doesn't seem to be nearly as great as it's being touted.

Spurs are laying off just a tad. They know they don't need to do that much to beat the likes of portland.

dallas did hold them to 30-something percent a couple of nights before.

can you blame the spurs for not going full throttle against portland. Save it for teams that matter.

that's what cost them the no. 1 spot, i'd think. not winning the games they should have. and granted, it is just portland, but it was also indiana (near 50 percent shooting).

well to go in depth a little more that 5 min stretch they got several layups especially jack. but for most of the game the shots were contested and blazers made em anyways

meanwhile the Spurs shot 59.1% of FGs and .444 on 3s. They were even over 76% on FTs.

I guess it shows we can play any style. The other night we just outshot them. Although really we had them in the 80s and were up twenty until garbage time in the last three minutes.

O'Rly? Dallas also held the Suns to 65% shooting a couple weeks before they did that. There's nothing to worry about. Portland won't be in the playoffs lol.
