The Spurs are entering their 10th consecutive playoffs.

What other teams are entering their 10th straight or more playoff appearance?

I was unaware of the 10 season streak...I can't disagree with your assessment based on it... :cry

I think a couple years ago with Blazers and/or Sonics missed the playoffs, it was the first time in 20+ years.

Blazers and Jazz.

I'm pretty sure that these are the numbers:

The Sixers organization holds the record at 22 years. The Blazers reached the playoffs in 21 consecutive seasons, too.

During those streaks they won one championship each.

I'll take the Spurs' measly 10-season one.

No doubt.

I'm talking about right now. I know Portland had a 20+ streak. But do the Spurs hold the current longest? I thought Indiana was also around 10?

Indiana was tied with the Spurs going into this season for longest active playoff streak...Sacramento was one year behind them. Looks like they both might miss the playoffs.

Actually...Portland didn't win a title during their streak. Title = 1977.

The memory is the first thing to go..........

How about Duncan - Second round in his first EIGHT playoff appearances...nine if the Spurs can somehow squeak by the Nuggets.

I've been wondering if that's some kind of record.

They didn't in the 04-05 season.
