This game has been damn good. Hope they can pull it off in OT. Turco's future relies on his playoff performances this year. If he chokes out bad again and we're out in the first round... he'll be gone.

We have enough talent to go all the way, but Luongo is a real challenge.

damn. Dallas let so many chances go buy I was afraid it was going to bite them. Now they have to get game 2, a lot depends on whether the Canucks 2 guys are going to be able to go in the next game. Good game with a damn shitty ending.

Damn, 6th longest playoff game in history! I have to go to class in about an hour, but I had to stay up and watch the rest of the game.

If last night (well this morning lol) showed anything, its that Turco and Luongo are clearly going to make splashes in the playoffs, despite Turco's "choker" tag and Luongo's lack of playoff experience.

This has the possible markings for one of the best playoff series ever, can't wait for game 2, Stars just need to pull off one road win to win this series. It won't be easy, though. Those Canuck fans are ready for a cup again, getting back to the playoffs alone is no longer enough after that epic win.

Bet you didn't enjoy that one. The Stars dominated - and Bieska is a little bitch for starting shit after his team just got handed at home.

Let's hope he keeps it up, his reputation may still shine through. I'm gonna sport some Stars relative board stuff now to give them some support, at least until the NBA playoffs kick off into high gear of course.

Turco is really, really impressing me. I am going to be buying a Turco jersey for sure. I have a lot of confidence in this team in a game 7 in Vancouver, don't ask me how.

This series has been damn good, worthy of an WCF.

If the Canucks win they deserve the win, but the officiating in the 3rd period was horrible. Every single minor called was bullshit. Every one. For a second I thought Joey Crawford, Bennett Salvatore, and Dick Bavetta were on skates in zebra suits. These hockey zebras have ruined the game and the series and should be sat down for the rest of the playoffs for gross misconduct.

Two empty-netters to end it.

The Stars nearly overcame the Third Period penalties, but Modano's crossbar was, unfortunately, a death blow.

Rub it in why don't you Vancouver?

What should they have done? Dumped it in and given Dallas another chance to mount a rush with numbers? Given Dallas a chance to get it back to one and then hope that there were no lucky breaks that went the Stars' way?

It's the Stanley Cup playoffs; teams do what they must to clinch wins. As long as Dallas was going to press with an extra skater to get scores, Vancouver had every right to score goals and increase its lead.

It was heat of the moment for me, and my lifelong Wings fan Karl thought doing that double empty netter within like, what, 20 seconds, was cheap too. Oh well, I thought it was lame as hell though but I am upset of the loss. :pctoss

Yeah, Luongo and Turco battle in the first round will not be forgotten for a while. That was a really tough first round series, infact that was WCF-levels of competitiveness. Good series Canucks, hopefully we can finally get back to the finals, but I know you are also thinking the same. :smokin

Ducks won't be easy, their offense is a lot more explosive than ours. We have a lot of great defensemen but for some reason our lines have had a difficult time getting scoring chances or goals, which is weird since we are like the best shoot-out team. Oh well, outted in the first round again, but we'll be back!
