The benches emptied quickly. Tayshaun Prince was the only player from both teams that remained on the bench. Leaving the bench in a fight brings an automatic one-game suspension.
That means Chauncey Billups, Derrick Coleman, Elden Campbell, Darvin Ham and Antonio McDyess, all of whom left the bench, could get a one-game suspension.

I don't condone violence but Prince had to at least leave the bench to protect the players.
I bet his teammates lost a lot of respect for him.

Yeah, but couldn't you argue that not leaving the bench IS thinking about his team?

I think the aryicle is talking about when Wallace pushed Artest. That's when all those players ledt the bench.
He's smart for staying.
