Wow, Dallas has BOTH of their All-Stars playing tonight against the Utah Jazz in the 79th game of the season with home court advantage throughout the playoffs wrapped up?

Little bit of pride issues here? I think they're not wanting to go 1-2 on season series with one of the few teams to actually step up against them this year. Dirk and Howard should be sitting.

Calm down homer...Mavs could care less about this game. If the Mavs would sit em..you would make fun of that. Shut the fuck up for once and stop being an ass :elephant

Why the heck would I make fun of the Mavs for sitting their starters when they're supposed to?

Having Dirk and Howard play tonight is like running up the score when the game is pretty much wrapped up already.

It's a pride thing with Utah.

Are you this dumb? Avery is follow his plan where he sat Dirk last game and now is sitting Terry. You can't sit everyone genius. Mavs don't care about the Jazz...a team that has lost what 5 in a row? The Mavs will beat the Jazz in 5 games if they meet...now go run and create other dumb threads to ger Mavs fans fired up.

Wow, Mavs can't do anything right...can they?

If we don't play them, it's "They'll be rusty in the playoffs, AJ's stupid" if they do play them "They'll be tired in the playoffs, AJ's stupid"

Like running up the score, eh? You're a genius.

No one gives a shit what you think. The Mavs will do what they want....leave the coaching to the professionals like Avery and Pop. Just watch the games and refrain from posting in the future cause you obviously don't understand the game :elephant

Dirk and Howard, their two All Stars and top two players are in the game. Each playing atleast 30 min.

Previous games Utah won by 22, and lost by three. So tonight is about Utah playing well.

All 5 Utah starters in the game with 2:10 to go. Kinda weird. Double digit lead, they play PHX tomorrow night, no Mavs starters are in...

Minutes

Croshere - 23
JJ Barea - 21
Ager - 14
Willis - 11

No Stackhouse
No Terry
No Dampier

Barea, Croshere, and Willis took the same amount of shots as Dirk and Howard.

Will SpursDynasty ever make a thread that does not make him look like a complete douchetard?

Because you started a thread trying to make the Mavericks look bad by saying they're playing two of their starters when according to you, they shouldn't. Just because they have HCA over the whole league doesn't mean they have to bench the whole starting five and empty the pine. It's the same in football when a team has HFA they will usually let the offensive starters play a drive or two, then pull them.

God you are a tool of JGW-esque proportions. That's not something to aspire to, either.

You're a team with a damn *65-13* record. Home court is clinched for the playoffs, with 4 games to go. You start both of your All Stars and they play 30 minutes each on the 79th game of the season...that sounds strange for any pro sports team, especially NBA. It makes more sense to play everyone else.

What I just said makes perfect sense. Anyhow, Dallas lost like they were supposed to.

I'm not posting on this thread anymore.

Just because HCA is clinched doesn't mean the starting 5 get a free pass to chill for the rest of the season. Playing Dirk and Howard against a team like Utah, a team they could probably meet in the playoffs, was a wise move. Avery obviously wanted to see how Dirk and Howard matched up with Utah. Rotating the rest is a good thing because on a deep team like Dallas, there will be all kinds of matchup combinations. Avery needs to see how each of his lineups perform over extended minutes so they are more comfortable playing together during the postseason.

I don't see what's so hard to understand about this. Honestly, you're the one who sounds more like an idiot. The Mavs have absolutely nothing to play for right now because they have HCA over everyone. If Avery wants to rotate resting of his players and play around with different lineups right now, he's earned that right by leading his through a great season. You post so much stuff about the Mavs I find it hard to believe you're really a Spurs fan. Save the shittalking to when we play them in the WCF.

Just save us all the trouble SpursDynasty, here I'll type it out for you:

Mavs suck, Avery's a terrible coach, Dirk is overrated, they'll be swept in the first round by whomever they draw as an 8 seed.

Better?

Did you even watch the game? Stack, Terry and Damp didn't play, and here was the 4th quarter lineup when Utah pulled away after it was a close, competitive game: Buckner, Barea, Mensu-Bonsu, Ager and Willis. Only Buck is gonna get significant post-season minutes.

Answer this - if Avery had played his starting 5 in a playoff rotation and had put everything into tonight's game as though their playoff lives depended on it, would they have won?

The answer is yes.

But he didn't and there was nothing at stake, so it doesn't matter. You are the ONLY person on this board and in the state of Texas that thinks this game tonight is indicative of some big Mavs problem.

Don't start a thread unless you want people to post in it. There wouldn't be anti-SpursDynasty troll threads if you didn't keep posting this same bullshit every day. Why don't you just put "I hate the Mavs, they are overrated, Dirk sucks, 3 rings no rings, Go Spurs Go" in your sig and just post a "." in every post you make from now on so we don't have to listen to you regurgiate this bullshit over and over again for the rest of your stay here.

You keep acting like you shot someone in the head and don't want people to call you a murderer. Shut up and get over it already.

Cheap little dink by Broussard, but Gagne's getting them in there around 92-94. I don't know that his old stuff will ever come back, but it's good for the Rangers if he can hold down the closer role and move AO to the setup.

Nasty curve to freeze Beltre. I'd say he showed something. This team is gonna hit...I like Ron Washington and I like the vibe this team is giving off.

:lmao yeah, dallas is losing its edge, i'm mad and crying at the same time because a no dirk, no damp, no stack, no harris mavs team beat the wolves by 17 the other night while the spurs starters one upped us and beat them by 19 :cry

the jazz play very physical ball, why risk our guys getting worn out and tired and possibly injury prone against a team like the jazz when the playoffs are around the corner? you have noticed that damp and stack haven't played the last two games right? what about the minutes logged in by ager and jj (YAY JJ!!!)? you're the one who sounds mad with your obsessive threads about the warriors and mavs games....it's hilarious, keep it up, you help prove the point that every fanbase has its idiots

I'm more concerned with Teixeira and Blalock's slow starts. If this team is gonna get average-to-mediocre pitching, those guys better fuckin' do something, and start doing it quickly. This team has got a real shot to win this division if they pull their heads out of their asses. I don't know how long Kinsler's hot streak will keep our offense alive.
