I live in Plano. The pic above comes from someone in Ft. Worth close to where they had the tornado last night. Crazy stuff. We had golf ball sized at my place.

Yeah, they had a bad hail storm with similar size hail back in the 80s up here that hit during a carnival/fair that killed 20 people or something like that. Crazy weather up here in Big D.

I live in Plano

Know a fella by the name of Greg Ray?

I think he runs a motorboat shop down there.

At least his dad did.

Great great guy. Ran indy cars from 97 to about 03.

Good driver, just couldn't get funding over the brazilian ride buyers.

That one piece of hail actually looks like a baseball. Amazing!

I live in Bedford. I saw the tornado forming as I was driving home on 183. I turned off on Murphy and was trying to keep an eye on it. I heard what I thought was a rock hitting my car, looked around and saw nothing. Ten seconds later I heard it again and saw the hail. All the cars around me started speeding (you don't usually do this in Bedford). When I entered my neighborhood, I knew things were bad because I could hear the tornado siren. I was driving at the curb to use the tree line as cover.
Just as I pulled into my driveway my wife was opening the garage. I pulled in and soon as I turned around to look out the sky turned very black. Then hail started coming down so hard it looked like it was snowing. But the snow was bouncing on the driveway.
My wife already had the kid and the dogs in the bathroom and she ran me in there. We could hear the hail hitting the roof.
A few minutes later everything was clear. We went outside and checked things out. We had golf ball size hail. The radio said the storm was moving 35 mph. It seemed like it was going a lot faster than that.

I had strong winds and lots of rain, but no hail. It went by quickly. I think it traveled east. just over us. Fort worth got it bad. anyone see that trailer park with all the vehicles flipped over? it was bad. it would have sucked to been staying the night in a tent at Texas Motor Speedway.
