So let me get this straight. if spurs lose, spur fans will say this game is meaningless.

if mavs lose, mav fans will way this game is meaningless?

if mavs lose, mav fans will way this game is meaningless? That about sums it up. I'd imagine that Pop will play his players regardless of the score - but if the Mavs start losing control Avery will quickly bench his players to avoid a "meaningful" win for the Spurs.

If he plays them though, they will play hard. I'm sure they all want to play because as much as people can say this game is meaningless both teams want to win.

I would have said this game was meaningless whether the Mavs won or lost. It is meaningless. They aren't jockeying for position. The series would have been tied had they lost. The Spurs could go for second but it doesn't really matter--no real significance to this game for EITHER team.

You also said the Spurs will win it all and the Mavs will choke again this season. why not just switch teams already so you don't embarrass the Dallas Mavericks any further?

1) Who the hell are you, and 2) When did I ever say "the spurs will win it all and the Mavs will choke"?:lol

Game was meaningless!!! Yeah, it was good competition between rivals but that's all it was. Both teams played hard and wanted to win but that doesn't make it meaningful. I was just happy there were no injuries.

Even Parker said it was "good practice" at halftime.

I thought that the mav starters were only supposed to play 26 minutes....apparently this game meant a lot to AJ. I loved how TP said it was 'good practise' at halftime.

Amen to that. Although you saw what kind of game it would be if the Spurs lost Tim Duncan (abstaining from comment...). When, not if, the Spurs and Mavs meet I want this to be a series with everyone at full strength...it'll be the best series for the second year in a row.

This was something to us cuase we could of caught the Suns. But that went out the window, when Tim Duncan couldnt stop laughing.

There is no point to this thread. We already know the facts.

1) The Mavs choked in the finals. Therefore, they will choke again. It is inevitable, because teams do not improve or change. What is always will be.

4) The Spurs have three rings. The Mavs have none. Clearly, this will be a Spurs race for the title. Just LOOK at those championship banners.
