I thought Harris was the star of the game, he showed his speed on many occations and made the Spurs pay for not getting back in an organized fashion. Parker is nowhere near the fastest man on the floor when these teams meet.
Stackhouse did rather well, though he did have his usual dibble of his foot move.
Dirk looked good, though too many turnovers for my taste.
Terry was a non-factor, maybe the time off in the last game will take him some time to get over.
George looked good and thankfully will be ready for the playoffs, Buckner did something useful in his limited minutes.
Howard ... I expect more from him when these teams meet in the playoffs.
The refs ... Enough said.
I thought that the Mavs were taking too many jump shots early, apparently so did AJ as Harris got a fire lit under him and they started taking it the rim ... and the Spurs older legs.
For the record, I don't think that the Mavs will start the series vs the Spurs like they did in this game. Harris will come off the bench in favor of George or Buckner, other then that. The game was a good one. Both teams looked like they wanted to win, which at this point in the season is about all you can ask.

If bowen was on him, you oughtta get used to it :)
Joey Crawford made all the baskets for us.
the Spurs really are the better team because they have three rings, so we will eventually bow down and worship them in the third round. the league just has it out for the mighty empire that makes up this team. hopefully we dont match up with them in the WCF, they are scary good

No injuries!
Both teams played some very generic defenses for the most part.

Harris was damn good and the Spurs will have to account for him in the playoffs. Stack always brings his game. And Nowitzki is going to get his. I also thought Diop played solid defensively for the Mavs in this game.
All-around it was a good effort by the Mavs and I would've loved to actually see that game go down to the wire with fully-loaded teams....oh well, guess I'll have to wait a month or so.
"Nowhere near the fastest man"? Wow. Hyperbolize much, Mavs fan?
BTW did you notice that Harris got the bulk of his points when Vaughn, and not Parker, was in the game?
People really take up for Harris like he's their little brother or something. He's a good player, but let's not get crazy. If he was as good as every single broadcaster says he is, he'd be playing ahead of non-world beater Jason Terry.

I'd be more inclined to hear your thoughts on the Spurs, as oppose ot the Mavs since this is "from the other side of the hence".

Vaughn sucked against Devin Harris. I was expecting a little more out of Vaughn. Nevertheless, it was a nice game by DH.

I was fairly certain that Harris came off the bench for the mavs today. It was dirk, diop, devean, terry and howard.

If it bothers you so much then why even post here? Go away
I would have been more impressed with Harris had he done his scoring when Tony was on the floor...

Your team ran their big guns and it still came down to the wire.
Sure the mavs inside D has become a little better, and harris ran the court pretty well. But all this means jack when the man who makes the Spurs who they are is laughing his ass off in the locker room.
This was just a practice and the JV team(your team) took it serious, thats all.
Also I wasnt able to catch the victory but did the arena go off like your team won the finals....errrr I mean mavs and mavfans dont even know that feeling...
Dont take your small battle victory as any sign, infact you should be worried, spurs came into your arena and controlled the game(period*).

i would agree but he will see a healthy dose of vaughn if he comes off the bench. I know the minutes tighten up and parker will get the bulk but i sure hope vaughn learned something for the playoffs on how to guard this kid..
