Very optimistic of you, but I think the Nuggets can win one, possibly two.

So are you trying to say that you are actually concerned that the Mavs might play GS?

As long as we know the top 4 west seeds, I think we all know Dallas, Phoenix, SA and Utah will be there in the second round.

I do think if Dallas gets GS in the first round, it could be interesting. SA's first round games seem to always make us nervous. (Lost Game 1 in 2003 vs Phoenix, Lost Game 1 in 2005 vs Denver, but went on to championships both of those years). Even last year with Sacramento when the series ended up tied at 2-2. GS and Dallas will have that feel of that 2002 Jazz/Kings first round series, where 1 shot could put the other team ahead in the series and change the momentum.

I want to see Dallas/GS and Phoenix/Lakers though. Let's hope LA and GS both win tonight so things don't get screwed up with the 7th and 8th seeds. Otherwise GS wouldn't go further than 5 with Phoenix. LA would get swept by Dallas. And the Clippers, no comment needed :lol

Um, no...I'm just saying that there are still 3 teams trying to get the 7th/8th seed... :lol

Do you have multiple personalities that post under the same username???

Warriors will take it 7 if they get in. Not saying they'll win.

My prediction is that Dallas will get a couple of calls to go their way though, and win the series.

The Mavs lost to the Warriors simply because when it's a game between those two, the Warriors are the better team.

Dallas is better than GS *overall*. But when it's those teams against each other, GS is the better team. How do I know? Dallas is 1-5 since beginning of '05-'06 season vs GS. Easy math. How do you argue with math? When it's just Dallas vs GS, GS is the better team when its those two vs each other, but not overall.

I honestly believe GS is the better team when its Dallas v. GS (GS is 6-1 over the last 2 seasons vs Dallas), but not the better team overall vs the rest of the league.

Dallas will simply get more calls in their favor. That's just the way it goes. That's why Dallas will win in 6 or 7 games, if they meet.

Pure genius...

So GS should win but the refs will hand it to the Mavs...

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Explain 6-1. GS is better.
2. The refs won't HAND it to Dallas, but they will certainly see the free throw line more often than GS.

Then since Cleveland is 3-1 over the past two years against San Antonio, then they are the better team, and should beat the Spurs if they were to meet in a playoff series, but the only reason they wouldn't is if the refs give San Antonio a bunch of bullshit calls.

SHUT THE FUCK UP.

1. 6-1...right. You mean 5-1? You're really counting last night's Ft Worth Flyers game in that stat?? 3 of those 5 wins on last second shots that went the Warriors way or didn't go the Mavs way...including a 40 footer for a win. They're a tough matchup when they're shooting well, but they don't own the Mavs as the record over the last couple years indicates. A 7 game series is a whole different ball-game...

If it's 6-1 and as simply as that, why aren't you picking the Warriors in 5 or 6??? :wtf

2. So total # of FT's is the determining factor in who the ref's favor? :lol

SHUT THE FUCK UP.

If Cleveland makes the Finals (the only way they'd play SA), then we can talk about that. But it's not happening. Good try though. I can list plenty of BS calls that certain teams got last year, but I get annoyed at people complaining about refs, so why should I?

You guys act like I'm making up the 6-1 record stat. That's a laugh. I guess GS just happened to win 6 out of 7 by accident. Darn, I hate when that happens. Am I counting last night's, yes. Because I keep reading all this about Dallas being deep. So they should have taken care of an 8th place team last night with their deep bench, right?

Time to weed out the average from the elite starting on Saturday.

LMAO...do you realize that Dallas started Barea and Ager?? Last night's game had nothing to do with the "depth" that Dallas has. The Mavs depth is their 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th guys on the bench. Not the 10th-12th. Pure fucking genius, Jeff... :lol

and where did I act like you're "making up" the 6-1? I fully addressed what happened in those games... :wtf

So what's your pick Jeff? GS in 5? 6? Or do the Mavs push them to 7??? If you believe in the "6-1" so much, surely you're picking GS to easily handle the Mavs...
