Um...a no-no is a no-hitter.

They didn't call him No-No-Nolan because of all the perfect games he pitched.

In fact...I think a no-no exclusively describes a no-hitter....because I can't think of a single perfect game in history that was called a no-no.

The "no-no" stands for "no hits, no runs." Every perfect game is a no-no, but those are in a special class of no-no's.

Buerhle just about joined that elite class last night.
