it feels like there's been a camby surge amongst the voters but here's to hoping either TD or Bowen gets it

The Spurs always have one of the top defenses, but never the DPOY...hopefully that changes this year.

Duncan averaged 20.0 pt 10.6 rb 2.4bk in this season

And also he's one of the best defensive player in the league

So I think that timmy is enough ability to get it

I hope that our dream will be come true

Go Tim Go!!!!

If they go purely by performance then Jermaine O Neal or Camby should get it.

I thought Bruce would be the obvious choice this year because no one really caught the media's attention, and he was probably overdue. Yet, Camby's name has magically appeared on everyone's list which will probably create the momentum Camby needs to win it.

It's odd that the MVP has to be from one of the best teams in the league, yet the DPOY doesn't need to come from one of the best defensive teams in the league. I mean, the Nuggets are completely average on defense, right?

I agree that one of the two, Bowen or Duncan, should get DPOY this year. Bowen at least deserves it after getting the shaft the last few years to Wallace. It's clear that Wallace was not that great of a defender and his weakness has been exposed with his switch to the Bulls. Duncan has always been an excellent defender and an all-defensive team 1st teamer. Shouldn't that count for something. If one of our Spurs does not get the award, then it will be another disappointment. What more do they have to do to get this award?

The obvious choice is Steve Nash.

Duncan won't win it. He's not particularly well liked by the media, and they vote on these things.

Maybe Bruce will finally get his due. It would be a shame to reward Camby for finally playing 70 games. Bruce has been an ironman, and frequently these awards are career kinds of things in the background.

Personally, I think Camby is not that good of a defensive player. He is a good shot blocker yeah, but that's really it.
