They are not going to do that this year and game 2 i am sure is going to a bitch for the Spurs to win. Spurs fucked themselves badly tonight. After a shitty first half and a good start to the third qtr they should have locked it down on D and cruised to this win. Now this is going to a pain of a series.

I agree with that. I think this will be a huge wake up call. I just checked and it appears that in Game 1 vs Denver back in 2005, the Spurs lost by 6 points. And today, they lost by 6 points too. Today's score is 89-95. The score from their loss in 2005 to Denver was 87-93...Interesting indeed...

I think the Spurs will win in either 5 or 6.

What we saw today was not the typical Spurs basketball. The big three were horrible...but I don't think that will continue at all. The guys have experience and know what it feels like to win a championship.

Look, Spurs got out-rebounded 44-35, however, they had 22 assists and 15 turnovers which lead to 15 points. Denver had what 18 turnovers (which lead to 20 something points) and only 13 or so assists? If the Spurs can maintain that comparative assist to turnover ratio in the series they are going to be fine. Spurs played bad, AI and Carmelo played out of their minds...but 13 team assists? Yah, that's some team ball right there.

Biggest differential? Free-throws. This is an inside-out team. That's just bullshit on the Spurs part.
