No it doesn't and i am a little worried about game 2 given that the Nuggets will come out harder than they did 2 years ago. I don't think you can beat us though 3 more times, overall Spurs are a much better team.

I wouldn't be so sure, Warriors always play the Mavs good. Now they are going to be clicking so well. Nelson wants some revenge, too.

I agree, however I think we are at more risk of losing the series than the Mavs. They were poor down the stretch, but they won't be that bad again.

Well I feel 10x's better about the loss. Atleast I can hang my hat on the fact we lost a #6 team and not a #8. Warriors have a good squad on them. I fear them more then any team in the West not named Suns, Mavs or Rockets. They run and gun but have the athleticism to play defense.

I expect the Mavs to win but GS really is an awful matchup for them and this proves it. This is going to be a real fight for them to come though this series. I really thought given all the talk about GS having their number the Mavs were going to come out tonight and beat the shit out of them.

For starters, the Warriors are able to shoot over the top of the Mavs' D. The Mavs have to respect the ability of Davis, Jack, Richardson, and Harrington to drive so they can't crowd them on the perimeter. This is a nasty matchup for the Mavs, moreso than Denver poses for the Spurs. Also, I think Golden State is better able to guard Nowitzki outside with their personnel and they have solid rebounders at the 1-3 spots. The Spurs' Big 3 took the night off and they almost pulled it out. The Spurs aren't facing a systemic problem like what the Mavs have with the Warriors.

In spite of the Spurs loss tonight if GS can pull off this miracle, the Spurs are winning the title. In a 7 game series i know the Suns can not beat them, the Mavs are the only team that can IMO.

You base this on what? Suns can certainly beat the Spurs. Don't use 2005 as to why the suns can't win. Suns are a far better team now than they were then. Suns have alot more options now and the Spurs will need big performances from finley and Barry to come out of that series If it happens. Barbosa will be the spurs big problem...he is playing so well right now. If Manu doesn't match him then the suns will win the series without question..

Suns are more than capable of getting key stops as they proved against the Lakers. Suns D doesn't need to be great when they have great offense. You point to a few weeks ago to prove your point? what happened in the meeting in Phoenix? Suns won by 15 odd and shut spurs down in the 4th....fact is the suns have alot of options and with Amare back who spurs have always struggled with and now with barbosa playing so well the spurs options are limited. suns have far more firepower and spurs don't have enough offensive firepower to beat them IMO.

Amare not as good as 05? I disagree. Amare has developed his game alot since then. He now has a jump shot. He isn't just a dunk machine.
