Hopefully, O'Reilly lets Dawkins get a sentence out before cutting his mike.

If Dawkins would wear a Geraldo mustache, I think he could get Billo to breath dragonfire from his nostrils.

It wasn't that good of a show. O'Reilly only had Dawkins on for five minutes or so. O'Reilly's big argument was that atheists have no morals and they can't disprove the existence of God. Dawkins reply was that the burden of proof was on the theists, not the atheists.

All in all, not as good as I had hoped for.

Sexual harrassment has been removed as a violation to moral code.

It was the jackass clown demagogue O'Reilly, not Charlie Rose or Bill Moyers or Tim Russet.

Dawkins wasted his time.

Sorry, I didn't know if you were responding to Boutons' post or mine. While I am a fan of Dawkins and an atheist, I do agree that his polemics come off as unnecessarily spiteful. That's a problem that many of the atheists I know have. It's almost as if their exploration of atheism stemmed from a resentment towards traditional organized religion.

I was wondering where that guy had been since Family Feud.

That sounds like an historical description of the Enlightenment-the beginning of modern atheism- so I'm not surprised that almost all atheists seem to have that view of religion. I don't think many people go to church and say, "Church is great; I think I'll explore atheism."

No, but I am sure that there are people that have atheistic beliefs for reasons other than resentment towards organized religion.
