Update: Howard began feeling ill Monday and was held to just eight points during the Magic’s loss to the Pistons in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series Monday night, the Associated Press reports.
Recommendation: "Dwight was sick quite honestly," Magic coach Brian Hill said. "He just didn't have anything. Before the game, he was nauseous and had intense stomach pains." Howard didn’t score in the second half until the final minute, when the game was essentially over. He did grab 11 rebounds but shot just 3-of-9 from the field and also committed three turnovers. Orlando now heads home down 0-2 in the seven-game series.
