Vandeweghe candidate for Grizzlies GM post

The Memphis Grizzlies are expected to talk to former Denver Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe, among other candidates, about taking over for Jerry West as the team's president of basketball operations.
Vandeweghe, 47, reshaped the Nuggets and returned them to respectability after taking over as GM in 2001.
Tony Barone Sr., the Grizzlies' interim head coach, will likely return to his post as director of player personnel and is not a candidate to succeed West.
