Grizzlies will talk with Celts' GM Wallace

Boston Celtics general manager Chris Wallace has been given permission to talk with the Memphis Grizzlies about Jerry West's job as president of basketball operations. Both are former West Virginia Mountaineers. West has announced he plans to step down July 1.
The top contender is reportedly Phoenix's David Griffin, though he needs permission to talk with Memphis. Former Denver Nuggets GM Kiki Vandeweghe also has been mentioned as someone the Grizzlies are bringing in to interview.
