I was on Manu's forum tonight and he's finally starting to respond back and somebody asked him what he thought about what happened the other night

http://manuginobili.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16862

1) How does a player draw the line betwen self defense and inflicting un necessary harm/ escalating the situation.
You just know when somebody is REALLY attacking you or doing a stupid thing for being the "crazy dude" of the group. VERY STUPID
2)Also what is the point of the security if the players are going to take over?

Some people can't control their emotions, and you can't control 20k fans either. If it has to happen, it'll happen with or without security.

3) Who would you say is to blame the player, the fans, or both?

Definitely BOTH.

4)Also in your opinion what is appropriate punishment?

Probably what they just got. Those fans should get some punishment, too, though.

5) How do you think the situation could have handled differently, if at all.

By counting to 10 before reacting (players) and by counting to 10 before doing a stupid thing (fans)

6)And what do you think the ramifications will be as far as player/ fans interaction ( the well behaved kind) in the future.
I hope only suspensions for everybody involved and that's it. This league has been going on for decades without incidents, nothing should change. (In my opinion)

See you soon
