How sweet was that?
3rd qtr 2:53 left.
Manu loses the ball, AI picks it up on the run at midcourt and bolts for the hoop. Tony runs along side AI, being careful not to *foul* his lordship. BTW nice 4 steps before the shot attempt AI.

Bob Horry hustles back and has AI on radar all the way. Times it perfectly and BOOM swats it off the backboard. Carooms to Fabs, handoff to Tony, up to Manu. Fake trey, drive n hoop.

25 solid minutes on O and D by Horry. .600 fga and great floor game on O and D.

Gm 1 Bob had the Big Shot that kept it close in losing effort.
Good to see Horry "back".

I also like the slam dunk by Horry after Manu missed the shot. Impressive!

LOL, I love the announcer's reaction. "This is a man who's 89-years old", or something like that.

We'll see how it all turns out. But it's tough to argue that Horry doesn't look better right now than he did at any point during the regular season. It is playoff time.

There may be life in his steps but they're still wobbly steps

I also liked JRichardson's block of Devin Harris' shot in game 1.

It was a really nice block. I think AI should have passed the ball to Najera, but he was a bit out of control and Parker didnt help him in that play...

Horry is one of the best in the NBA at blocking shots on the fast break. He does it on a pretty regular basis for someone who plays limited minutes.

Horry still has life, and I will still defend him getting heavy minutes...

that seems to be similar to prince swatting reggie millers shot long time ago in the playoffs...

Horry is amazing at blocking shots, he looks like a jedi when he jumps to gather all his strength and then uses the force to send that shit back to Philly.
I noticed that too.

Same way he takes a shot. He has a good rhythm to it. :clap

That entire sequence that ended with the trey a few possesions later was incredible. The Bowen steal and all were all huge in gaining momentum.
