Poor guy. You didn't get the benefit of most of Shaq's years where he could literally elbow a player in the face to get clearance for his 2 foot shot (the only shot he can make consistently) and now you have to deal with the fact that your second best player is a lumbering oaf.

Right! :rolleyes They will likely win Game 3 because even old decrepit players play well at home but there is no way they are winning 4 in a row. The Bulls steal Game 4 and they will be happy with a split going back home.

I've never heard him referred to as a great player before. I think he's a solid guard that is good on both ends of the floor. I never thought he'd be that good in the NBA but he's definitely become a good player (not great).

I've been behind the Bulls and have predicted them to win this series, especially given that D-Wade has that shoulder problem and the way the Bulls played the first two games. But I must say that I wouldn't be too shocked to see Miami win this series in 7. When that team is motivated, they're really good. Maybe if Deng cools down and D-Wade begins to dominate...it could happen.

True but the odds of the Heat coming back all the way from 0-2 to win a series are against them. Yes I know they did it last year against the Mavs but this is not a healthy Heat team and quite frankly the Heat this year has been a bad team.

Yes I know they did it last year against the Mavs but this is not a healthy Heat team and quite frankly the Heat this year has been a bad team. And Toronto has been a good team, and the #3 seed (is this correct?), yet face a defecit, although being favored before the series.

Just because Miami didn't have as good of a record doesn't mean shit. The playoffs is where teams dig deep and turn it around. D-Wade, when motivated, can beat just about any team singlehandedly. The addition of Eddie Jones, and with guys like Posey, Shaq, Mourning...that team has experience, and always will be a threat in the playoffs as long as they're together.

I'm not saying it's likely, all I'm saying is I wouldn't be shocked at all if they came back.

Last year's championship series has to be the one I hate the most.

The Heat winning it all is an embarassment to the league, I hate Walker, Payton, and Zo, and never wanted them to touch an NBA ring. On the other side stood the Mavs, and what Spurs fan wants a bunch of Mav trolls running around this board never shutting the fuck up?

Questionable backcourt violation call. I mean, Wade touched it before he landed his foot on the other side. Doesn't that cancel the violation?

Just imagine the confidence the Bull's are going to have going into the 2nd round.

Riley should've tried the Hack a Ben earlier. It was almost like he didn't want to use it. Wierd b/c against the Pistons he would use it even if MIA had a lead!

Whoohoo!! God that was a great comeback. Miami didn't deserve the win one freakin bit. They're so dirty, and the fouls they make are just sad. i'm surprised none of the Bulls wanted to get in a fight after that, Kirk got a little pissed but i don't blame him. :lol Overall, I think the Bulls are strong contenders and they definitely got this. Very happy for them. :elephant Now, go WARRIORS!!!! :)

Skiles is a great coach, i'm sure he'll prepare them good, as he did for the three games that they had already one. Heat will battle it out, but so will the Bulls, i know they will definitely want to go 4-0 with the depending champs. should be a very fast-paced & exciting game.

Congratulations Chicago. Nice to see a team of young and dedicated guys play decent ball, without $30,000,000 bucks being paid to one player (a la Jordan). Would be great to see Chicago and San Antonio in the Finals. Considering how Miami beat up on Chicago last year, I'm glad to see the Chicago boys have their day. Sunday should be interesting as Miami will try to save face. Let's hope the refs call a tight game so there are no dirty tricks to try and injure Chicago's players. Boo hoo hoo Miami.

SHAQ is Mad at ref Eddie F. Rush

CHICAGO (AP) -Shaquille O'Neal's words were sharp and pointed and aimed straight at his target, like those passes he whips to cutters when he is double-teamed.

His target this time was referee Eddie F. Rush.

"My intention was to come out and be myself, until Eddie Rush derailed me," O'Neal said after fouling out.

Chicago's Luol Deng also played a big part in knocking defending champion Miami off track. So did Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni.

Deng scored 33 points, Gordon and Nocioni each hit two free throws in the final 19 seconds, and the Chicago Bulls held off the Heat 96-91 Saturday in Game 1 of their opening-round rematch.

"This game was really big," Deng said. "Now that we have the lead, most of the time the team that loses has to adjust. We did a lot of things today that worked for us."

The Heat trailed 92-91 after Dwyane Wade found Udonis Haslem for a layup with 38 seconds left, but Gordon hit two foul shots with 18 seconds remaining. After a timeout, Wade missed a 3-pointer and Nocioni hit two more free throws with 9.8 seconds left for the final score.

unfortunately its a case of coulda, shoulda, woulda but thats not the reality. The Heat are done. Same case can be made for the Spurs in 2000, if we would have had Duncan playing it would have been a completely different series too............
