Warriors...hehe.

The Spurs are capable of playing the best basketball of any team in the playoffs. But right now, I think the Bulls are looking very beastly.

Chicago Bulls

I hope you're joking. Chicago plays good D but only sometimes, not all the time like spurs

Eh, I love that the Spurs D is back, but their offense needs some work. And they could rebound a little better. Chicago and Detroit are both playing very well - should be an interesting 2nd round.

They aren't even close to playing the best ball in the playoffs. It's great to be so happy after a win, but we squeaked that win out.

I'll wait till we win by 15 or so to say we are playing good ball.

The Spurs took total control of a must-win game and deflated the thin air out of the opponent's arena. It was an ugly game and I thought the Spurs could've been a lot crisper in their execution, but tonight they walked out with the W and that's what matters most.

They're beating the Heat. Not that much of an accomplishment.

The Spurs haven't played particularly well at all yet. Some of you guys are completely delusional. The Nuggets aren't nearly as good as some would like for you to believe and the Spurs are squeaking by them.

Spurs are still coasting other than Horry.

Fin and Oberto are playing pretty well. Elson played much much better. The Spurs still haven't come close to putting it together.

They went 10-1 to end the season.

They have Melo and AI. They have a slim downed, more aggressive as hell Nene.

They > their 2005 team and I remember them being out second toughest opponent in 2005 after the Pistons.

They're a strong team, a good team and a hell of a first round opponent. If we has Orlando or the Heat we'd be 3-0 right now with an average point margin of 15+.

Pistons are looking damn good to me. Pistons, Spurs & Bulls are the top 3 right now. I'd like to say that the Warriors are playing really well but that series is more of the Mavs playing like crap up to this point.

I would like to remind everyone this is an ODD year. That guarantees a championshipo. However,m omn the kens news. They said one parade gone with good weather one to go. Mean battle flowers then the night parade.. But we have one more parade left the championship parade!

besides maybe 2 quarters of basketball combined I haven't been overly impressed by the way the Spurs have been playing. The offensive and defensive execution have been too inconsistent. I'm not a Parker hater, but sometimes his Rambo escapades give us more shit then they're worth... although sometimes they payoff really big... I'd still rather not have that question mark laying there.

I don't think, as a whole, the Spurs have played very well at all in this series. They have been out of sync offensively, not very good on the glass, and have had huge stretches where their interior D is just horrible.

Good luck to the Nuggets when the Spurs actually play great basketball :)

It's too early to say that we will be the champs. So wait untill we come to the finals.

Right now Bulls, Pistons and Warriors are playing on the same level as the Spurs or even better.

Pistons will win but NO way in hell they dominate. Chi-town knows how to play Detroit and I can see this series going to 7 games. And whoever said the Bulls play "D" only sometimes is :drunk

Sorry but as rabid a Spurs fan as I am, they're not playing the best ball in the playoffs. They're playing just well enough to win. But that will only get you so far.

Look at the facts. The lost the 1st game when they should have won, and they've almost blown the last 2 games! I love the Spurs and I'll always be a die-hard fan, but they need to nut up and play a hell of a lot better if they expect to beat teams like Phoenix, Dallas, Cleveland and Detroit.

Heres to the spurs peaking in June!

nkdlunch
04-29-2007, 03:40 PM
are you saying phoenix, Dallas, Cleveland are playing better than Spurs in this round 1 :wow

and don't even mention Detroit. they played the damn Magic. gimme a break.

and Chicago is playing well maybe as well as Spurs but I still don't think they play as good D as Spurs. and on offense Ben Gordon is like Arenas, a ballhog. he will win some games, but he will also lose some like that.

nkdlunch
04-29-2007, 03:41 PM
my point was, not that Spurs are playing their best. Only that they are playing the best ball out of all the teams in round 1.

Exactly what I was thinking. Nuggets are in trouble when the Spurs actually play to the best of their capability.

You've seen them before, those moments. It starts as a weird total-group expression of body language, a focus that literally warps the other team into a frantic, disorganized bunch of onlookers. Then bursting out of our team is a supercharged bolt of energy going solo to score or to pass off to someone else who's in a better spot for scoring.

BASKET and 1!!!!!!!!!!!

Then the house goes whacko, the noise meter is off the scale, and 13 other players begin to wonder about those vacation reservations they never got around to making.

I saw the Bulls game today against the Heat....I'm going to have to say they are the team playing the best ball in the playoffs. Their defense is stifling at times...their offense isn't always that great, but Big Ben's offensive rebounding ability helps them tremendously with second chance points.

Pistons are obviously up there as well, but it's hard to tell since they played a very inexperienced Magic team which was barely a playoff team as it is.
