Like last season in the West playoffs, the real ECF will be played in the semis : Bulls-Pistons, while Lebron and Co are sweeping the unlucky shorthanded Wizards and facing a less dangerous team in their semis ; of course, it won't be easy for them to beat NJ or Toronto, don't get me wrong. But Bulls and Pistons should be an ECF matchup (plus, it would remind us of their ECF battles in 90 and 91)

They set it up to where the top two records in the conference won't meet until the conference finals. Bulls aren't one of the top two records (though they probably should be).
That's what happens when Cleveland has a fluke regular season and ends up with the 2nd best record in the conference.

Might happen in the West too. If GS knocks off Dallas, the Suns and Spurs will probably be playing the WCF in the second round. AGAIN! :lol :lol :lol

Yup :lol
The NBA seeding system is improved over last year, but remains stupid.
Here's a radically different way of doing it, NBA - seed by record! Division championships mean nothing.

They should suppress divisions (but not the teams in there, hopefully :D )
