Would you guys go for him? Looking at the recap of Game 4 of WAS vs. CLE, it appears he won't be back with the Wizards.

"Notes

Haywood did not play after getting no points and no rebounds in 10 minutes in Saturday's Game 3. His nameplate over his locker was missing after the game, and his future with the team is obviously in doubt. "That's something we'll handle in-house," Jamison said. "I can understand his frustration as far as not getting an opportunity to play. ... It definitely won't be a distraction next year." ... Wizards G DeShawn Stevenson went 0-for-8 from the field and was 9-for-46 for the series. ... With the Wizards down 3-0, playoff fever in the nation's capital ebbed significantly. There were many patches of empty seats throughout the arena, even though the game was announced as a sellout. ... The Southeast Division went 0-12 in the playoffs."

Yes.
Haywood is better than Spurs previous true centers (Rasho/Nazr) and is cheaper.

No, No, NO, and NOOOOO

Any basketball fan knows that Washington was never a true contender in the East this year, even with Gil and Caron healthy, for the simple fact that they get absolutly OWNED in the paint. There's no post defense or offense on that team whatsoever, and Haywood is the main big, so what does that say for him?

How would you feel about Jarvis Hayes? I think that guy has nothing but upside. IF you want him, WHO would you give up?

It's simple. Tim Duncan needs a fucking animal on the boards with a 20 foot J lining up next to him. Is that really that hard to find in today's NBA?

hard to tell if he'd be an improvement over Elson.
