Here is how the second round playoff picture is shaping up:
Spurs vs. Suns - Probably will turn out to be the best series in the West playoffs this year. Defense defense defense.
Warriors vs. Rockets/Jazz - If Warriors play the Rockets, they'll finish them off in no more than 5. Jazz, different story...
Bulls vs. Pistons - Major kickass series coming up with this one.
Nets vs. Cavaliers - Who gives a shit. NBA TV series here...
Predictions anyone?

Don't they re-seed after the 1st round?
if Spurs and Warriors win their series the 2nd round would be
Suns (2nd seed) vs Warriors (8th Seed)
Spurs (3rd seed) vs Rockets/Jazz (4th or 5th seed)

IS THIS RIGHT?
I THOUGHT THEY CHANGED IT THIS YEAR TO KEEP THE TEAMS WITH THE BEST RECORDS FROM PLAYING EACH OTHER TILL THE LATER ROUNDS (DALLAS VS SPURS 2006 2ND ROUND PLAYOFF)

I don't think there is reseeding. The Mavs would have avoided the Suns/Spurs (2nd and 3rd best records) until the WCF, since they have the best record.

Look at the bracket on the front page of NBA.com
http://www.nba.com/playoffs2007/index.html
The changes were made in setting the seeds so we'd avoid seeing Dal - SA in rd 2 like last year. No re-seeding after rounds...

Brackets are fixed and unchangable once the playoff starts.
I think Houston could give the Warriors a lot of problems, particularly if they play zone and let Yao rove through the paint. I see that series going at least 6. The Rockets have several players who are physically built to keep up with the Warriors, and T-Mac is returning to Top-5-player-in-the-league form. I don't think anyone on the Warriors can hope to contain him like they do with Dirk.

They don't re-seed. They've never re-seeded.

It's almost worth having the Mavs take the series so this SpursDynasty will stop posting. Almost.
