Was not getting blown out by Dallas a moral victory for GS? I would think they are pretty confident since they were able to come back from a 20+ point deficit, on Dallas' home court.

That's a point many "analysts" are not noting...
Of course, people focus on Dallas coming back from being down 9 points (which, really, is not that big a deal for a team like Dallas).
Warriors came back from a 20 point deficit, and then blew the lead. I think they are mad they didn't win, and will work their asses off to win Tomorrow.
Still, their collapse in the end has me wondering if they have the stuff to get it done when things get rough in the 4th...
Pros: Confidence, HC advantage with a wild crowd
Cons: Immature team that can unravel on a dime.
I'm looking forward to Game 6!

I think the Warriors would be confident/cocky even if they had lost 3 straight games by 20+ pts. I think that's just the makeup of that team. Confidence will not be an issue with that team, it will just be a matter of focus & execution for them.

The 30 point turnaround was moral victory enough. If they don't get themselves up for a huge Game Six, Warriors don't deserve to win.

If the Warriors lose period, they don't deserve to win.

I'm trying to find moral victories in last night's box score...can't seem to find it.

:lol
No moral victory but the Warriors feel very confident heading into game 6.
Rod Higgins was on local radio here in the Bay Area and he disagrees with Avery Johnson's assessment that the pressure is on the Warriors now.

YES!!! Reggie Miller was on the Dan Patrick show yesterday and said if dallas does not blow out GS, then they will not beat GS at home. They needed to make a statement to GS by blowing them out.

If Reggie said it then it must be true :lol

I guess the point of the thread is... it could've been worse for Golden State.
If they get blown out by 20+ points, they come back to Oakland feeling demoralized and unsure of themselves. The fact they had the series in their hand, and lost it, can either inspire them or deject them.
In the end, it won't matter if it was a blowout loss or a close loss - this is either a bump on the way to a 1st round victory, or the beginning of the end for Golden State.

Well Reggie stated a very important point sweetie, your team needed to send a statement to GS which they did not. GS was up nine points while the clock was ticking down for ya'll. dallas was very close to saying ba-bye for the seasson. GS is not afraid of your team so they are going to go at your puss team full force on their home court.

Not a moral victory...but they shouldn't have a reason to be down. They have an excellent opportunity to close out the series at home on Thursday. Plus, they overcame a 20 point deficit. Also, I think they will make better choices down the stretch this game, because it was obvious that they weren't exactly sure how to handle an elimination game.
