If the Spurs play well they win. If the Spurs don't play well they probably lose. Rest is insignificant at this point, at least as it pertains to freshness. Should the Spurs actually start to click, then rest could actually threaten their rhythm.

At least we have a game plan against the Suns... let Amare average 73 ppg, and shut down everybody else... has worked well for us in the past.

Why not give the Spurs an advantage by making them take the high road? And for those saying that rest does not matter at this stage, you could not be anymore wrong. It's not like we have the youngest legs in the league right now. The Suns are gonna come out just like 05 and try to run us up and down the court. Big difference this year is a healthy Amare. And there is a world of difference between rest and rust. I say go ahead Lakers, give them a beating for another game or two.
