Its Jerome Williams, and its kind of a make a wish situation.

This boy Gary Lee has a heart condition of some sort, couldn't hear what it was.

But his big wish, was to ALWAYS have wanted to watch a Laker game.

Well he lives in New Mexico, and obviously couldn't afford to go see them.

Well I don't know WHO sponsored it and what not, but hes gotten to go see em.

Well hes obviously a big Kobe fan, having a Kobe jersey, first guy they get to meet, JUST by accident too, is Kobe Bryant, and Kobe was really awesome with him.

Now Ronny (sp) Turiaf is talking with him, brought him a huge bag of Laker stuff.

Ive always liked Turiaf, and, its really hard to not like players that give their free time to kids like this, like Bryant did.

So props to the Lakers.

Props to Turiaf, and props to Kobe.

Now Ronny Turiaf just gave the kid his personal number, to talk to him anytime.

To talk to him after games or whatever.

Ronny?

You've made me a new fan :tu

That's good stuff there. Big props to those guys.

Jordan was also big time into visiting sick children in the hospitals and giving them free tickets.

Given his own medical past, I'm sure that Ronny Turiaf has a lot to offer this young man. Glad to see him so willing to offer whatever support he can. It's always great to see the many different ways in which NBA players give something back.
