Pop needs to learn who in the heck is getting the ball when the game is on the line.

Duncan jacking up a 3? Duncan shooting a layup when down by 4? Manu trying a layup when down by 3? WTF? Hubie schooled his ass in the last few minutes. The Toronto Coach schooled his ass in the last few minutes. Phil Jackson schooled his ass in 4 straight games.

Terrible.

if manu tries the layup is because he is the best at the FT line

There were not moving the ball well. They had 13 assist as a team=(terrible)

What do you expect when the only play being run is a pick and roll with the same people?

Exactly, I am just trying to point out that Pop is not very bright in offensive skills. Never has been. Dude, has no clue on how to be crafty at the end of the game.

Memphis scored on almost every possession in the last few minutes.

Pop got Hubied.

Pop should have put Malik Rose in the 4th quarter instead of horry.

Come on Tpark, have a take bro. You can't tell me that Pop didn't have the frickin tools to close out the last 2 games and to close out the Lakers.

Dude has no clue on how to adjust.

Dude called a dunk/layup when down by four and less than 20 seconds. Hubie had shooters in the game, dude is not stupid. Hubie + Duncan = 5+ Championships not 2.

4 games in 5 nights is finally catching up to us
both Duncan and Manu looked tired
facts are:
Bruce is 1 year older and showing his age
Berry has not shot better than Hedo
Devin has not picked it up where he left off in the playoffs
Horry is on and off
Beno is in his first year and still learning the players he plays against
Pop has not managed minutes very well
Everyone is gunning against us at their home court

until these issues are solved the Spurs will be a .700 ball club that has to prove they deserve the target they have been given

Disagree. They played out of control last night and tonight. Out of control. There was no execution. No one knows what they are doing.

Duncan is not a 3 point shooter and he is shooting 3s to win games. Manu is trying to score layups when down by 3.

There is no mental awareness on this team to close out a game. Again, Pop was schooled by Hubie and will always be, so he better make sure he gets a blow out.

Pop should have put Malik Rose in the 4th quarter instead of horry.

Only if Pop wanted to win.

Not one of Robert's best outings...nor was the game in Toronto.

PJ rejoined the team in Toronto and I think you know their record since then, goose. :hat

Tonight mattered. Watch a game. 2 in a row. Same outcome. Poor execution. You didn't see that? I didn't see Fish throw in a .4 sec. shot. I saw schoolage all over the court in the last 2 minutes. Out of timeouts, in transition and on defense.

Witnessed on TV. Pop's lack of skills.

poor execution due to tired players

last time I checked Pop was not one of the on the court yesterday when the players thought the game was over after 3 quaters and stopped playing

The play was actually being set up for a 3pt att by Barry, but the defense swarmed to him and Barry made a quick pass to Duncan for the layup. It was a good decision by Barry. There was plenty of time on the clock.
