Dirk. Nowitzki is now officially Karl Malone: a product of a great system, who can't take over a game on his own when it really matters. Completely gutless performance. Absolutely disgraceful.

Nowitzki's legacy is forever dead.

reminds me of the kings team, built for the regular season only

but they went up against a guy who makes love to pressure, so i expected them to lose anyway

Avery for not attempting to win Game 82.

They do that, this is a sweep of the Clippers.

The Warriors are for REAL you jackass. They will prove it if they continue to play like they did against the mavs. The 4's and 5's are in for a matchup nightmare guarding Jackson, Biedrins, and Harrington. Golden State is loaded. You don't have a chance if you don't have a post player.

"Avery for not attempting to win Game 82.

yeah, was it Steve K who pointed that out? The mother of ironies.

I disagree with this. The way the Warriors were owning the Mavs this season, Avery could have played their regulars and they still would have been creamed in Oakland.

Sweet karma after that whole Crawford-Duncan incident. Especially since Avery wanted to send a message to the Spurs by playing the starters the day before in a meaningless game only to rest them the next night against their possible first round opponent.

the warriors just handled the mavs all around! give the warriors all the credit. convincing opening win, two complete blowouts, and losses only when baron was removed from the game

Dirk by far.

He didn't want the ball.

If you are a superstar, you need to demand the ball in these type of situations.

He wasn't even been triple teamed or anything tonight.

Even if you are 1-for-11 in the first half, come out firing in the second.

Going 1-for-2 in the second half, or whatever it was, is a freakin embarrassment.

True. True. It was all mental weakness too! Dirk could use his lack of a post-game as an excuse for the weaknesses in his game, but it extends way beyond that. He'd pass the rock out so fast, hoping Howard or Stackhouse would take the big shots. Or Harris would put the onus on himself to drive the ball in. All night long, it only took a defensive lapse on Golden States part for him to have those two fluke 3-balls in game 5.

Dirk brought on himself all the current and future heat he's going to get in the Mavs off-season. Maybe forever. His stock value took a steep nose-dive after today's lackluster performance.

Common people, don't lay ALL the blame with Dirk... What happened to the supposed defensive prowess of the Mavs?

They forgot who they were and went back to "run and gun". That is on Avery.

Devean George starting C, please...
