He definitely enjoys his beer. He's said that many times before. Hell, he's German and 7ft tall. I'm guessing he can drink most of us under the table. He said he spent the month after the finals last year in Germany drinking to forget. Can you imagine what his liver will be going through this coming month :lol

No doubt Dirk is as soft as a cream puff but Avery was seriously out coached and he also sat his team down the last week of the season. They opened against a team that didn't know they would be in the playoffs until the last game of the season. Golden State had been playing playoff basketball for the last three weeks of the regular season and Avery should have recognized that also. Having said that, I am glad they got blew out also. I agree, there fans suck! :danceclub

If the Spurs and the Mavs play each other the first game of the new season, will the Mavs wait until the next game to unfurl their Southwest Division Champions banner? What if they play the Golden State Warriors next? Will they wait till like the 3rd game? Will Dirk get his MVP trophy handed to him by David Stern on the same evening as the unfurling? Will David Stern even bother showing up?
Dang it! Now I am going to worry about this all day! :dramaquee

HAHAHAHAHA how ironic, the Mavs didn't wanna unveil their WC Championship banner in front of the Spurs last year so they waited 'til their 3rd game to unveil it...................against the Warriors!!! :lol

Their season reminds of the Pistons last year, but at least the Pistons had some fight in them even though they were playing their worst basketball all season in the playoffs.

speaking of alcoholic, did David Hasselholf did get drunk because the Dallas Mavericks lost in the first round? :toast :lmao
Hasselhoff Films Himself Drunk
David Hasselhoff has started humiliating himself on camera - so he can see the monster he becomes when he's drunk. In a new video, obtained by TV show Extra, the intoxicated former Baywatch star can be seen shirtless, trying to focus on a hamburger in a Las Vegas hotel room. And a lawyer representing the actor tells the news show that it was his client's idea to appear in the shameful video - because he wanted to use the footage as an incentive to seek help and quit drinking. In the video, Hasselhoff, who has had several booze-related controversies, is berated by an off-camera family member, who begs him to "stop drinking." The telling video also suggests Hasselhoff's drinking problems threatened his run in hit Las Vegas show The Producers. The concerned family member, who can only be heard, says, "If you get alcohol tonight, you are fired from the show tomorrow and the doctor is coming over here in the morning to check your alcohol level. If you have any alcohol in your system, you are going to be fired from the show." During the video, Hasselhoff is repeatedly asked why he continued to "do this" to himself. Hasselhoff, who is presently locked in a bitter custody battle for his daughters with his ex-wife Pamela Bach, mumbled, "Cause, I'm lonely. I have trouble in my life." In a statement through his attorneys, Hasselhoff says, "I am a recovering alcoholic. Despite that, I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue. Unfortunately, I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse. Because of my honest and positive relationship with my children, who were concerned for my wellbeing, there was a tape made when I had a relapse to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it, and I am back on my game. I thank God for the love and concern from my children."
