I know we too know what Mavs fans are going through this morning. Even though it wasn't this much of a disgrace, how many years did we have to put up with the naysayers blabbing on about how David Robinson was too "soft" to get it done. That he could never lead us to a championship because he was too "soft" Like I said never a first round disgrace like this after having the best record in the league to a 8 seed, but I do know what they are feeling with Dork Nonutski. :fro

Please dont even make a comparison between Dirk and David .....
The only thing those 2 have in common is they are tall.

Not comparing the two, just comparing on how the critics now are going to have a field day. At least David Robinson tried to win.

Nah, Noshotski was his maiden name. Nonutski is his name by marriage...

Robinson's teams were upset in the playoffs all but one time before Duncan arrived. I don't recall Robinson ever failing to show up in any of those games, though.

Bad comparison. Robinson was called 'soft' for the bullshit reason he was never demonstrative or arrogant on court. But his play was never soft (well, unless you're Rosen who thinks anyone not coached by Jackson is soft). Unlike Dirk, I can seriously not recall an important game that he didn't show up for. Hell, in his last NBA game he dragged his creaky, failing body through a close-out game to the tune of 17 boards.
No, I personally don't know what true Mavs fans are going through because I've never seen a team with arguably the most talent in the league, with the MVP and the current hot-shit coach roll over and play dead so convincingly.

David is taller.
So no comparison at all.
