Shit, I'm getting sick of people writing off the Suns.

Seriously, I don't know if a Spurs fan could have concocted an easier road to number four. The Rockets were a bad matchup for San Antonio because they have no one to guard Yao and TMac turns into Jordan against the Spurs sometimes.

But yeah, Phoenix might end up being the biggest hurdle as it stands right now.

pistons still would be a challenge

The way the Spurs luck is going this year, they'll lose to the Nets.

I am looking for the dark cloud between the silver lining and have yet to find it.

I really think the Phoenix series is going to be a real battle. So I don't care about the WCF possible match up.

That said, tomorrow will be a good game to gauge whether the Spurs have the advantage.

Because of the way we match up, we should go in and try to take the first game, if we're able to...

Never since I saw Kenyon Martin lining up opposite TD in '03 have I felt this confident.

I'm with you MB, but I hope it's just the fans that are looking past PHX. The Spurs will have a battle with the Suns.

So much for the NBA's reorganizing of the playoff seedings. The top two (remaining) teams in the West will once again be meeting in the WCSF. David Stern just can't catch a break.

I don't understand why the NBA doesn't reseed after round one......

Suns are the pick by most of the media. This won't be easy. Amare is back you know.....

Gonna have to go through them sooner or later. Might as well take 'em down now.

Me neither... save the potentially better matchups for later on. They made a half-assed attempt to right the wrong last offseason. I doubt they fiddle with things anymore, passing off this year as a fluke thanks to Golden State.

I wouldn't say most. I've done a shit load of searching and have determined it's pretty split. Most all of ESPN is picking the Spurs, save for Walton and Barry. Most of SI is picking the Spurs. Yahoo and SportingNews, the Suns.

Local media aside, them's the big four. It's pretty split.

Did KM go llike 1 for 13 shoting in that series. Please, KM tries to stay in front of TD and he got owned. Who is worried about that match up?

I don't wanna take the suns lightly either but let's face it

this went from being one of the hardest roads to the championship to one of the easiest.

what a difference an upset makes :toast

Let us just sit back, relax and enjoy the series...

EDIT: uhm, if this series holds true to an exciting, 7-game, down the wire finish... forget the "sit back and relax" stuff. I'm sure both sides will have to endure nerve rattling, up in your toes moments. :toast

I wish I could be as confident as most of you seem to be. Phoenix scares me, and so does Detroit.

Does everyone pretty much think that the Jazz are going to take care of GS?

Phoenix games agains LA were joke because nobody played defence. Sometimes it was looked like 5 on 3.
Stoping Nash penetration and playing very focused defence is only key to past Suns!

And Warriors looks like they are on huge run now, so i won't be surprised if they win Jazz in 6
