Who is your suprise Spurs player in this series against the Suns, and what do you think the "big three" will average?
I say Elson comes through this series with 10 pts and 8 rebs per.
As far as the big three:
Timmy 26 pts 12 rebs *(memo to Suns fans-Amare won't average 37 this time around-Timmy has two good ankles this year)
Tony 20 pts 6 assists (Timmy will be taking some of TP's assists since the Suns will colapse on him)
Manu 17 pts 5 rebs and 3 stl per, and his usual highlight film plays.
It is too damn bad that Bruce doesn't have any post up game to punish Nash, since they will be trying to limit Nash's fouls by hiding him on Bruce. That being said, Bruce should be able to get his 3's off easily. I expect decent numbers from him this series offensively.
Fin just needs to keep being Fin. Do you think he guards Amare at all in this series like he did for Allas in '05? hmmm...doesn't sound Pop'ish, but he may have Nellieitis after seeing all the small ball in this years 1st round.
Brent must be effective and help space the floor for Timmy when he finds his way into the game. I expect we see him alot more this series, as Pop will need to sub more frequently to keep legs fresh.
I don't expect we win the rebounding battle by much or at all this series, as Pop will have everyone getteing back asap when a shot is put up, to keep Barbossa from hurting us.
Game 1- Spurs 103, Suns 96
