Don't fuck with peoples elections and they won't fuck with you. Stupid Ukranian government.

I wish I could agree with you. The problem is, we will probably agree to stay out of it, when history will show we should have gotten involved.

Prying away the Ukraine from the Russian sphere of influence would be huge for the US and NATO.

How many nukes did the former Soviet Union leave behind?

I say nuke'em and nuke'em fast!

"You know what the Ukraine is? It's a sitting duck. A road apple, Newman. The Ukraine is weak. It's feeble. I think it's time to put the hurt on the Ukraine."

I don't support helping either side, but I feel the people are justified if they revolt.

I hope this doesnt mean that many liberals (aka clear thinkers, must report) but if russia needs our help in the war on terror, then they need their pwn security measures.

When the Ukraine went independent in '96, the US, Russia, and Ukraine government teamed up to clear out the nukes and nuke material.

On a sadder note, Russia has just moved troops into eastern Ukraine. :(

Yeah, I'm sure that's accurate.

Well, looks like a nuclear winter after all.

Yoni,

I don't know what else to say. There was x number of nukes in Ukraine, all were accounted for after its independence.

I don't trust the Russians...

I don't trust Russia either, but we had our boys (DOE, CIA) over there too.

It's a big country. We've got a couple hundred thousand of our best in Iraq, right now, and they're still finding stuff.

Aggie Hoopsfan

True, but in Iraq they didn't tell us where the stuff was at. In Ukraine, everyone (US, Russia, Ukraine gvt.) all did.

So they say.

And, Korea abandoned their nuclear program when Jimmy Carter came to visit. Iran isn't going to pursue them anymore. Libya didn't have a nuclear program until we pulled Saddam out of a spider hole and, then, all of a sudden...he's giving up a program no one even knew he had.

Forget it, nevermind.

Sometimes you come off as bad as Dan does on the other extreme.

I'm not saying they've got nukes, I just wouldn't be so certain they don't...

Is there anymore hypocritical than members of the W administration decrying voting irregularies, and fraud in the Ukraine election? Have these people lost all of their senses?

MannyIsGod
11-25-2004, 12:18 PM
comparing the irregularities here with the outright fraud in there is a huge stretch.

Aggie Hoopsfan

Comparing them? Dan probably thinks the Russian election was more legitimate than here in the US.

Good call, Manny...I can now imagine Nbadanallah's post.
