We got outworked. Memphis was more aggressive, more physical.

Offensive and defensive execution poor. I thought it was a pretty poor performance overall.

Record isn't so important (this early). It's more important to execute well.

Don brought up the frustration gurly-man punch that Skip to my Lou put on Timmy. Pop knew nothing about it and hadn't seen it in the tape...so I guess Don was stretching the truth (making it up or passing the lies on to the public) when he said on TV the other night that the Spurs had sent the tape to the NBA for review.

Pop also talked about the Detroit/Indiana brawl and says he completely agrees with Stern's decision. He doesn't agree with the thoughts of Barkley, or even the Clemson coach.

Pop also reiterated that there's over 400 good guys in the NBA, that things like this are not an epidemic.
