Anyone watching this game in HD can read D'Antnio's lips and he is cussing the refs out. What does it take to T this man up? I'm pretty sure he could take his dick out, slap a ref in the face, and they would still just walk away.

By the way, my respect for ths Suns players has grown by leaps and bounds. Nash is a freakin warrior and, if nor for his bad cut men, may have been able to win them a game.

completely agree on both points.

D' antoni was letting the explicits fly. and nash was a true general. he wanted to be in the game every second.

That new book about the Suns (:07 Seconds or Less) talks about how great of a guy he is to the refs 99% of the time. He just really flips out about some calls and isn't as shy about profanity as other coaches are.

He had no reason to complain about this game though, especially when he was griping about that last shot by Amare.

At this point, unless he calls a referee a cocksucker or a motherfucker, or says that they've been paid off or something Cuban would say, he won't get a T.

It's hard to give D'Antoni a T since it looks comical when he gets mad. It's like a rabid mouse or something.

Agreed.

Him cussing his ass off with his hands in his pockets is hilarious.

And after the cussing is about to be over, he crosses his hands. :lol

That's true. All he needs is a cane and a little hat and he's Charlie Chaplin. :lol

Maybe if he sat on the bench and laughed he would get a T

That was a huge play! It was at home - that cost the Suns the game. Steve Javie even apologized to D'Antoni post-game and they don't really like each other. That's a key play to miss when the Mavs get an extra possession and the clock is ticking down, forcing the Suns to foul when they would have had the ball with the clock stopped.

I thought they did a good enough job trying to fix the cut... then again, I'm in China and had to watch the game on a windowed web-cast so I couldn't see much detail.

Refs won't do shit to D'Antoni. He's got mafia connections. Doesn't matter though. The Suns are going nowhere with their gimmick basketball style. Until they start playing actual defense they'll always end up getting smacked around by the elite teams in the league.

I am a little bored with all these T. NBA is becoming so "politically correct". I like to see coaches and players on the bench enjoying the game and showing some passion for it.
It shows people there are not only doing their job. They are still the playground kids who once called themself Magic, Jordan or Bird.

He took cursing lessons from Coach K.

Seriously, you have to know how to insult a ref without insulting him. When cursing and argueing, you NEVER make reference directly to the ref as an individual.

You never say, "You suck," "Your call was bullshit," "Can't you see that," "What were you thinking?" Etc.

As long as the tirade is directed towards the game or the call itself, refs are much more apt to let it go. For instance, "That sucks," "That oul was bullshit," "What in the fuck," "Where the fuck was that foul?" etc.

That is why alll verbage to the ref you hear is normally non specific and/or tied directly to a player/action. "That was a foul" "He fouled me" "He pushed me" "Where was that foul?" etc.

Whenever you see someone get T'd up sort of immediately and out of the blue is because they more than likely made it personal by saying "You blew that call" "You suck" "Fuck you" etc.

A head coach knows all the buttons to push and will normally get at least 2 warnings when a player only gets 1. That's why when you see a coach that WANTS a T (like Pop does from time-to-time to get the team fired up) he will get it because he knows exactly what to say to get it. Conversely he also knows what NOT to say to avoid getting one.

Your right. They should have given one to D'Antoni, but game one to Ivaroni instead.

I predict an early T for Mike tomorrow.

If I remember correctly, the last time that D'Antoni was ejected for his bitching, we rallied after the half with Ivaroni coaching. So I really wouldn't be disappointed if he got tossed. Him and Diaw are already dead to me, and Shawna is on life support.

and puts his hands in his pockets to keep him from doing this :madrun

now the assistant coach got a T, that was pretty funny too. He was pouting afterwards.
