Michael Finley's playoff stats so far:

16.5 points per game on 48% shooting and 51% from three point land.

Has he aged? Those fadeaway jumpshots were money! Clutch!

While I'm extremely pleased with Finley's production, six playoff games isn't enough to cement his Spurs legacy.

Hopefully this thread is still relevant in late June.

I was one of them, mostly on Horry and Bowen but the geezers are proving me wrong.

And I am glad. :spin

Re early season haters. Ye of little faith.

I kept telling you guys that the Spurs shouda coulda, woulda won it all last year, save that ugly Manu foul. They are a slightly better team this year.

Phoenix will shut him down, I guarantee it.

Hey, it is working....do not knock it. I think, if the Spurs win it all, I should get a playoff share this year.

funny how SUNS fans said he had one good game against denver... FINLEY has been on fire for a while now. Congrats FIN . Keep up the good work.

I hope he keeps up! He is just one more weapon... Tim, Manu, Tony, Horry, Finley

Yea Manu has been shit. Horry and Finley have saved our asses because Ginobilli and Barry haven't given us shit. I keep saying to myself that Ginobilli will get out of this funk but he's shown no signs of of leaving it behind.

Concur. So far he has been great. What's just as good to me is he is for the most part hustling on D and getting a rebound or two.

You early season worshippers should be happy with his first 6 games.

Good thing, too, with Manu ineffective.

I knew Findog would be effective some time in the season.

He's peaking at the right time that's for sure. That's what good players do.

I've been very pleased with Finley's play. But this isn't the time for Spurs fans to celebrate.

Many stupid Spurs fans panicked early on and wanted all these trades and shit. They should move to Dallas. This is the greatest team of all time, no matter what happens.

Well he was big for SA in last year's postseason too, where coming off the bench he averaged 10.5 ppg on 48% shooting and 38% from three, including some huge threes, shots, and dunks in games 5, 6, and 7 against the Mavs.

The hating was justified early in the year. He sucked bad and he sucked for a long time.

That said, he's been on fire for a while now, and when he makes his shots it's a thing of beauty. If the Spurs win it all, he'll be a huge part of it.

He also got worked on D plenty of times by the Mavs n Dirk.
This year lets hope he keeps up both the O and D.

His hustle back to distract the Raja Bell breakaway was great hustle.
Ref gave bogus foul to Finley but his effort was great. :toast

Finley has been great, but you can't put stock in the lower percentage parts of the court. That's why it is so critical for Manu, Tim and Tony to have big games in the paint...THEN let the other guys tear it up from outside. We can't depend on Finley to always have a clean look at the basket.

Cept Fin is a SG! He shouldnt have been guarding Dirk to begin with. He worked his ass off trying to cover Dirk when he was on him. Whats he gonna do? He aint responisble for the Spurs runnin a small ball lineup. Thats on the staff. All I know is that he worked and hustled on D and made big shoots in the series.
