So the other rounds can catch up I believe.

and because TV wants more games on weekends when the ratings are higher.

I just hope it doesnt mess up any momentum that we may have.

Thats the reason I started a thread on Game 2 being so important for the Spurs. A long rest is not a good thing for them usually. They get rusty really quick.

The League knows how to drag this thing out. How long did the 1st round take? 3 weeks?

They had a 3 day rest before Game 1 and look how that turned out for them. 3 day layover is no problem for the Spurs.

I think the three days will be good for our vets, and bad for a rhythm team like PHX.

What was up with that, I hated their camera views.

because the NBA has a better chance of getting people to watch it/follow it if it's on the weekend?

Shit, it is on ABC. They have the worst HD feeds in Phoenix. The audio dropoff that occurs is downright criminal.

I'm sure that it is because ABC's lineup is pretty much set during the week, as series finales are coming up. Put the damn game on Thursday on TNT.

i fuckin hate abc's camera angles they suck balls, just stick to the originalno shit that floating camera shit makes me sick, and you cant even see the action as good. If the ball goes to the other side of the court its too far.

Playing the fastest team in the NBA, this extra time off only helps the Spurs, especially coming back to the AT&T center. Excellent! :)

Playing the fastest team in the NBA, this extra time off only helps the Spurs, especially coming back to the AT&T center. Excellent! :)I could see how it could benefit us either way, because if we win game 2 the momentum is on our side. And although we may lose some momentum with the layoff we are still coming back to SA and the fans and players will be pumped. If we lose game 2, it gives us time to regroup and get ready for game 3 in SA. I see it as a plus either way.

I like the camera for football, but it doesn't translate well to basketball. What if it falls off the line and kills somebody?

I like the camera for football, but it doesn't translate well to basketball. What if it falls off the line and kills somebody?I agree it works for the NFL, but fails to acheive the same excitement for NBA action.
