Yeah dude I aggree, I have started some just for them, and fellow spurs fans tell me to let it go. I wouldnt even be saying anything if it was any other team, but they (mavs) insist on opening thier big mouths. So when they stop....so will I.

Seriously, I'm amazed by how stupid Mav fan was in 2006. The Spurs have had lots of history with Phoenix, but for the most part, their fans have been knowledgeable and respectful while still leaving no doubt as to who their favorite team is. Detroit fans have always been great: maybe because they've been there, and know how to handle their teams success. Dallas fans have been twice as bad as the Laker fans were here during their three-peat.

It's not really the fact that you're posting...it's how you post. Detroit fans have been welcomed in with open arms ever since we met them in '05. That series was awesome and the fans appreciate and respect each other. They're fun fans to discuss basketball with and even argue with.

Mavs fan is the anti-Piston fan.

The Spurs fans are just as guilty of that, though. I keep getting little reminders of the Mavs choking from other posters even if it has nothing to do with the topic.

I actually dont mind the trash-talkin' when it is deserved... but it is becoming redundant - all the same talk, from mostly the same posters *both ways Mavfans at Spurfans, Spurfans at Mavfans* and it begins to take away from the actual threads worth reading...

The more varied the posters on this board are, the better the board becomes. I wish there were more fans from other teams on here, as long as they actually add something of reason. For their credit, some of the mavs fans on here do just that.
