Were doing a thing on the "2008 Elite 100" College Football Recruits. We like to think were the best free recruitng site on the net.

If anyone is interested this forum link will give you the link to the front page article and the sites free recruiting board.

I think its more of a Pac 10 thing. Look at what Carr/Michigan has done against SEC Teams and then compare that to Pac 10 teams.

This could be Carrs' last season with the Wolverines.
No big bowl wins + losses to Ohio St.= no job for car after seasons end.
This is his make it or break it year.

It would be nice to see Texas and Michigan schedule a home and home. That was a great game between two of the all time great programs.

I hope we have a damn good season. Let's see what's on tap...

GAME 1 Arkansas State · Sept. 1
Austin, TX · DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium

GAME 2 TCU · Sept. 8
Austin, TX · DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium

GAME 3 Central Florida · Sept. 15 · 2:30 p.m. · ESPN2
Orlando, FL ·

GAME 4 Rice · Sept. 22
Austin, TX · DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium

GAME 5 Kansas State · Sept. 29
Austin, TX · DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium

GAME 6 Oklahoma · Oct. 6
Dallas, TX · Cotton Bowl

GAME 7 Iowa State · Oct. 13
Ames, IA · Jack Trice Stadium

GAME 8 Baylor · Oct. 20
Waco, TX · Floyd Casey Stadium

GAME 9 Nebraska · Oct. 27
Austin, TX · DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium

GAME 10 Oklahoma State · Nov. 3
Stillwater, OK · Boone Pickens Stadium

GAME 11 Texas Tech · Nov. 10
Austin, TX · DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium

GAME 12 Texas A&M · Nov. 23 · 2:30 p.m.
College Station, TX · Kyle Field
State Farm Lone Star Showdown

Does not appear to be as tough a schedule as the last couple of years, but who knows what will happen. OU, Nebraska will be tough outs and we get a chance at revenge on KState at home and to beat down the dust bowlers at home. Hopefully a full strength and undefeated team goes into Kyle Field and breaks aggie in half.

It's a terrible schedule. It's a schedule that could see them going undefeated but still left out of the National Championship game unless the big 12 has a dynamite year. But the OOC is what may kill them.

I'm not going to bust the Horny nuts schedule without our own.

We have a great chance to start the season in the top ten with DMac. We should start 5-0 playing Auburn at home. Then suddenly we should be 8-0. We have such a favorable schedule hopefully the oline will be strong and the defense is consistent on pressuring the backfield as we have.

Ya'll schedule sets up really nice with LSU being your only real tough looking road game.

I know Bama is a roadie but Arky seemingly always plays good down there.

And no Florida until the SEC Champ. game is always a good thing.

Wow the Hogs have a very favorable schedule....that's gotta be 8 wins at the very least....maybe as many as 11. the only problem of course is that Houston Nutt is still the HC. he just might decided that with McFadden and Jones in the backfield that this is the year to adopt the Mike Leach Spread and just use those guys as decoys.

That "Dropping Bernie Kosar back 50 yards to launch the bomb to the wide open Willie Gault" might just work for the Hogs.
