99% of the board is backing Manu. He has nothing to worry about. Parker just played a two time reigning MVP to a stalemate.

Once Nash starts putting up more stats the Parker and Ginobili starts shooting > 40%, the world will return back to normal.

Probably starting with Game 2.

Am I the only one who thinks Manu's playing fine? He did enough to help win the game, didn't he? So what if he doesn't score the basketball, he affects the games in other ways -a.k.a. his 8 rebounds?

suddenly manu is hated and parker is god

by bandwagoners. I think Manu will up his game and Parker will still play like this throughout the series.

34% from the floor isn't fine, but he'll be ok.

manu is playing pitiful

the biggest problem is his complete lack of aggressiveness

hell, i'd take 2003 manu at this point, as reckless as he was, at least he tryin to make something happen

I've never seen manu look so tentative with the ball in my life

He's shooting like crap for the six games of the playoffs so far (sub 35%). No matter what else he's doing on the floor - that's not playing "fine" to most people. That being said - Manu is the player that I always have confidence will break out of slumps. Even in Game 1, I thought he'd have a huge 4th quarter :lol Hopefully he has a monster Game 2.

I was impressed with Manu's rebounding too. He can do a little bit of everything when he wants.

Manu not playing well YET, can only be a bad sign for the Suns.

Parker and Manu both playing well at the same time again, will be scary.

If Spurs lose game 2, would it be a good time to start Manu and bring Finley off the bench to get him rolling again??

Honestly, both Parker and Manu are great players...I like them both equally...and I don't see why people would hate either one of them...lol. They both have contributed enormously to both of the recent championships...so both should be respected.

Yeah, it'd be pretty hard to consider Manu's playoff performance to date as "fine". His offensive numbers are pretty ugly and he's 8th on the team in plus/minus.

That said, he's playing better than he played in the 2003 playoffs.

I personally have always liked Parker over Manu(disregard my SN), its seems every time down the court Tony can get in the lane and score any time he wants, however with Manu its like he can score 24 points in a row one night, and then miss 24 straight shots the next(obviously exaggerating)

plus, the damn baldspot Manu has just pisses me off.

Manu was doing fine early in game one until he got into foul trouble. No worries. Manu will be there when we need him.

I love both Manu/Tony. We all know what Manu's capable of so hopefully it's just a matter of Manu being confident and playing his game plus it seems he's not taking as many shots as he used to. Bring it on Manu!!

Manu's had short spurts of brilliance, followed by minutes of mediocrity. That's not hating on Manu, that's just the truth. Luckily, the team hasn't really needed him to have a monster game -- YET.

I like them both, though I have speical price in TP because I am French... and you all know since De Gaulle that we are pretty "chauvinistes" :lol

I would just like to seem them play well at the same time (that does not seem to have been the case very often) :depressed

I think TP will not "enjoy" game 2 as he did game 1 - he will get special focus from Phoenix D and I don't know whether his J will be as succesfull, so hopefully Manu steps up.
