Maybe we'll get Salvatore, Rush, and Nies all at the same time tonight.

I know that won't happen because Rush worked last night in SLC.

Oh well -- maybe Salvatore, Spooner, and Nies.

Maybe Joey Crawford will shoe up in fake glasses, nose and moustache, like Bobby Valentine did a few years ago in the Mets dugout.

I guess that's a sign we should let everyone in on the inside joke. The Thompson Brothers (Rob & Jason) have hosted various shows on WOAI/The Ticket (the radio network that broadcasts Spurs games). In the last several years, they've occasionally travelled to Spurs road playoff games; but the Spurs have an absolutely abysmal record in playoff road games when the Thompson Brothers are in the house, IIRC.

Other than myself (I'm 0-5 in seeing Spurs playoff road games since 2003), they might just be the worst thing to happen to the Spurs when on the road during the playoffs.

I don't know if they were or not. I heard them a bit on the radio in the run-up to Sunday's game, but it sounded like they were more likely at a local establishment. Usually when they do radio from the road, they have to run their show from press row, so the ambient noise behind them is basketballs bouncing and things like that. The bit that I heard on Sunday sounded like they were surrounded by conversations and clinking glasses.

:lol The NBA may need to order more whistles after the game because that trio will swallow theirs.

You would think WOAI would learn and not send the Albatross brothers.

The Spurs had won every game I'd ever gone to until WCSF game 7 last year, so I say fuck counting on superstitions to hold true.

I believe that at one point in the last few years, they were like 0-10. :lol But they are a little better now.

They were in Dallas for game 6 last year, right? So it's not hopeless.

On the other hand, maybe they had something to do with Finley getting hurt.

Didn't one of those clowns on nation TV blame the refs when the Spurs lost and embarrassed San Antonio?

Yes. Calm down peeps. They were there, so perhaps the jinx is over....

But then again, probably not.

Yes, but have Walter and Vex tried to use their credentials lately?
