Not me. 4 out of 5 bad games against the Suns. According to you guys, he has been struggling much longer.

Maybe the crowd can hype up Manu. He'd better stop shooting jumpers, or he is going to continue to disappear.

Where is The Church of Manu when you need it the most ?

Manu is maybe a no show in this playoffs but his Church is far worse.

No Prayer thread ? :td

A Manu=Manure thread and no "I believe in Manu" thread ? :wtf

Manu without his church can't be SuperManu.
Without believer, there is no god.
You're the main reason why Manu isn't that good. Please, use the three days off to give Manu his Mojo back.

Maybe the Church of Manu was after all a bandwagon thing and they disapear when things aren't going well.

It's time to be in full support mode for the members of the Church instead of dirking. :rolleyes

I think he'll score in the 20s, at least. I also think he'll have a break out game. Its a Saturday night game, so no excuses Spurs fans. Get your asses there EARLY and stay on your feet throughout. Lots of noise, so don't just sit lazily and stuff your pieholes with beer and grub.

Cavs have no shot at beating the Pistons no matter how lousy the calls are. Pistons fans really want a 2nd shot at us and i want to play them again also, they are a great team that i really respect.

The league will pick Detroit and the Suns and give it to the Suns for the finals. LeBron and Cleveland are not ready for the prime time stage and would just embarrass themselves like Dallas.

after each game one of these threads pops out... that's funny
manu is a great player, indeed the more poor showings in a row he gets, the higher the probability for him to have a break out game in the next one ^^
if its not this one, it'll be the next...or the next..etc etc (or we're f***** simple as that)

Manu is too good to be absent much longer than he has been, The law of averages will come into play now. He has won every basketball goal there is to win, and he didn't do it by having a Raja Bell keep him from achieving it.

I'm not sure what he'll do, but my guess is it will be for the team to achieve. Who knows? He may give Oberto/Francisco 6 or 7 assists for a 12 - 14 point game that may make the difference between a win or a loss. Let's face it, Manu can score 4 to 8 points and still contribute greatly to a team victory. This is still a team sport. I'd hate for Manu to score 30 in a loss.

DarrinS
05-10-2007, 11:27 AM
All Manu has to do to be successful is drive to the basket. I don't care if Raja is on him or not. And even if he gets blocked or misses a layup, he still needs to be agressive. That's the GOOD part of his game. Hanging out at the 3-pt line and faking penetration is not helping his game.

As long as he can make some key baskets, rebounds, assists, etc. I'll be pleased. I don't think he has to score all that much to be a difference maker. Sure I would love it but as long as he a big contributor in a win, I'll take it. It doesn't have to be points.

I wanted manu to get the finals mvp when they played the pistons not duncanwho the fuck are you trying to kid ducks?? We post in this forum same as you, so don't try to bullshit us. Everyone knows you don't like Manu, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. The only reason I can think of is you're still stuck on the whole Tony vs Manu idiocy from 2 years ago, which guess what? makes you an IMBECILE!!

The church of Manu hasn't gone anywhere. We still believe in the man even though he hasn't been playing well. I can't speak for everyone, but the reason I haven't posted much lately is because I tend to NOT come in here after a loss due to the amount of MORONS jumping off bridges in this forum.

On top of that you have jackasses like ducks and others that are LOVING that Manu is in a slump because it allows them to run their mouths like they've never been able to in the past 3 years. They've always been haters, its just now they have more ammunition. To this I say enjoy it while it lasts, which won't be long I guarantee it.

I hate to admit it, but I think you're right. The only good game Manu had against the Suns was back in Feb., when Manu scored 32 points, but Bell got hurt and only played 12 minutes. Spurs lost 103-87. :depressed

this is true. Manu needs to overcome his mental issues. they are obvious. THis is the reason of the thread. Bell's defense does not worry me.

Bruno
05-11-2007, 10:27 AM
Saying that bell owned Manu is just false.

In 05-06, while Manu wasn't great during the regular season, he has had 4 good games agaisnt Suns and Bell.

In 06-07, Manu has struggles against Bell but you had to consider that Manu has had two slumps during this year. One in november before his back injury and one in april, 4 of the 5 games Manu has played against Bell were during these stretchs.

Bottomline is that when Manu isn't in a slump, he isn't owned at all by Bell.

You are right about the jumpers I think, especially all those 3's. Hr needs to get into the lane where he can create a little havoc like he has in past.

VaSpursFan
05-11-2007, 10:45 AM
manu must remove head from ass and get in the game. find ways to contribute and let the scoring come in the flow of the game. he's just chucking jumpers right now. be the aggressor, attack the d, make the refs make a call. i don't care if you get your shot blocked 200 times. being aggressive always pays dividends.

spursfan09
05-11-2007, 11:42 AM
Sorry Sun Fans but I don't think Bell is the reason Manu is playing bad. It started in the 1rst round. He is in a funk. He will be due for a good game. Also I have more confidence, because the Suns don't have anyone to keep Manu from going inside, since they don't have the shot blockers that the Nuggs have.

but is he back, though? manu was great, but he still needed nearly 20 shots to get 20-something points. i loved the drives and whatnot, but he's been so up and down this year, i'd hold off saying he's back to form.
