Curiously, Shakespeare wrote that line to have it said by a traitor who wished no interference with his attempt to overtake the government.

I liked saying Billy Shakes in my Shakespeare's Early Plays class a few years ago. Suprisingly, that never got old.

I was discussing lawyers the other day with someone I know. This is one of those people that has a high respect for lawyers due to their schooling. Not me.

Someone getting the masters in mechanical or biomedical engineering gets waaaaay more respect from me. I mean, how many lawyers are there in this country. It can't be that tough. Okay, maybe it can be. Still, they get less respect than a lot of other professions from me. Have you seen that degree program for a phd in English or History? Damn.

There are plenty of licensed attorneys who are readily capable of underwhelming anyone. Unfortunately, those tend also to be the lawyers who believe that they're smart enough to bilk clients and get away with it.

But, with that said, there are also many, many lawyers who are extremely bright and who do great things with that gift.
