Smoke has been spotted at Ding How Chinese Restaurant at 4531 NW Loop 410. Twelve fire units have been called to the scene. We have a crew on the way and will update with details as they become available.

I hope Johnny Blaze's parents had insurance...

You want to know the funniest thing about the whole Lachino thing?

I don't even like oriental food.

LOL, I have passed by this restaurant countless times in my life. I have never ate their though, I just know the restaurant by it's design and how it stands out from everything else along that stretch of 410.

SAN ANTONIO -- A popular Chinese restaurant on the city's Northwest Side was heavily damaged by fire Friday morning.

The fire broke out at Ding How Chinese restaurant at Loop 410 and Callaghan Road at 10 a.m.

Most of the damage was centered in the kitchen, said San Antonio Fire Department District Chief Randy Jenkins.

"It seems that the kitchen has been pretty much destroyed," Jenkins said.

Damage was estimated at $150,000, Jenkins said.

An investigation into a cause is under way, although a restaurant employee said that a small electrical fire on Thursday night may be to blame.

"(We) pulled the sockets out of the wall," said Chris Tullio, an employee. "I don't know if that's what started it today or not."

The restaurant will be closed until further notice

Are you 100% Mexican or are you actually part Asian?

Asiacan? Mexian? :spin :spin

So if NorCal is white pretending to be black, that makes him wh-ack. Norcal is whack. Makes sense.

My descendants are from Mexico and my family has been in this region for a number of generations.

This reminds me of when "Taco Palenque" went down in flames over a decade ago (Wurzbach).
